17 BTC or One Million Hive?; Why Some Hive Users Are Like A Leech To The System

I saw a particular post about how a user @ENCRYPT3DBR0K3R sold their 17 BTC to get just about one million hive power and it was totally fascinating, it was a total show of trust on the future of hive and of course the believe that the one million hive will of course be more in a year time let's say 1.2m hive, 1.3 or even 1.4 while the 17 BTC will Just about still remain 17 BTC. Truth is, being in the Crypto space has taught me a lot of things and that's the fact that there's never a right decision only what we truly chose and place that sentimental attachment on. In truth it's important to note that not many people in the hive space will trade their 17 BTC for one million hive despite the fact that they've been here a long time.
Sometimes I look at the action of some hive users and it only translates to how they see hive as milking machine. Truth is, I believe some users in hive are 50% of hive problems, they hardly trust in the future of hive but then they want external investors to bring their fund but they themselves keep milking only when they could be setting the pace and building hive to a particular Standard. Some of the proposals I see on the DAO are totally ridiculous, milking the system and only enriching some individuals that does nothing on the depth rather than offer some stupid development, truth is the hive development money isn't well utilized and still creates a sort of unfair distribution.
We need hive to be valuable hence there should be scarcity. I believe the DAO funding is loose and basically most of the proposals sometimes are passed based on the personality of the proposer and his history with the chain and not the impact of the proposal in itself. And that's why I hardly vote for some of the proposal even if it's just a tiny influence that I have. Truth is, hive owners and users needs to put more skin in the game. I've seen so Many hardworkers like @nathanmars and believers and in hive and it's always disheartening that will some are uplifting hive with different actions others are just milking and we'll only come to a parley of average when this continues to be the case.
In Reality, we have to trust hive in itself, it's not a crime to put your money in hive, because if you deem hive worthy enough to take from it, one way or the other you should be willing to give it, sustain it and let investors out there see a favourable haven to come in. There are many ways to uplift hive and @ENCRYPT3DBR0K3R has silently shown that uncanny trust, it's imperative to see that 80% of our actions on the chain should reflect how we value hive. There's basically no magic hive can't just skyrocket in value like 100000% gains in a day and have you dumping and dropping, NO! hive is a project and the growth should be aimed at Sustainability, longevity and long-term and it's imperative that people begin to see it as such. We ourselves will package hive and ready it to be globally adopted but then some actions of some hive users needs to change.
So many people would rather chose to go for hex or those pump and dump project simply because all their endeavour is targeted at making money alone and because hive doesn't bring them that quick money they simply see it as boring and unproductive, truth is, it's us who we build hive to a standard which want it, content creating is just one aspect of hive and I believe everyone shouldn't just be invoked in just this, how about using the hive end games? The second layer projects like Leo? Bringing external funding in, to raise its valuation? How about decentralizing marketing to the grassroot level and getting damn involved in globally presenting it to startups that will need the speed, the free transactions and the total safety and freedom that hive offers?

The way I'm feeling like right now is wishing I have money to buy Hive, things are so rough that spare cash is not even available!
I rarely post here any more because of the attitude of others. It’s easier to find support elsewhere online. There are those who multiple posts a day and the prowl the introduce yourself page trying to gain new followers. Engagement to them is a game and all they do is boast about how much Hive they are leeching. It sickens me.

I think it is imperative that some of the layer 2 applications take off. We need to create new wealth centers, outside just the holdings of HIVE. This means there will be a whole new group of people with the resources to buy HIVE and power it up. This would change things a great deal.
Fret not, nothing remains as it is forever. Do not forget, a few years back it was Dan, Ned and Steemit Inc that ran everything. Now those three are gone and a new bunch.
We will likely see a repeat in the next few years as resources become greater to the multitude of people who are active on here, especially the layer 2 apps.

Exactly I feel we need to create new wealth epicenter outside of hive but then I don't even know how we're going to do it. But then like you said again we're relatively in a new place and one year ago it wasn't so. Thanks for your comment and support
I think LEO is looking like it is providing one of the first wealth centers aside from HIVE.
There also could be one forming in Splinterlands although I dont know much about the payouts on that game.
