Equaling Accountability With Expectations In Growing A Business

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

When people go into business, there's a level of expectations that propels a business idea. Without these expectations, it's difficult to measure the realistic achievement of a prospective business. In this video, I talked about why it's important to cultivate expectations to match one's level of accountability. I also talked about the reality of limitation and how it helps us envisage the degree of skin or means that's necessary to achieve an expected result. I laid a lot of emphasis on new entrepreneurs.

I was listening to Michael Saylor podcast earlier this week, that guy is super intelligent by the way, he mention knowing our limit in his talk which kind of stuck with me, at time we can be over zealous which isn't necessarily bad but knowing out limit helping gauging how much of a pursuit we will be channeling into a target...

Yeah, everyone at one point in time should understand their limits, I think even with crypto, it's important to draw the line. The thiy is that putting everything on the line sounds good sometimes. Risks can pay no matter how risky it is. But then, it's important to tailor our expectations, this way, we get to be accountable to ourselves.
Michael Saylor is a brilliant man, even when sometimes I tend to disagree with him.

I think I get the part where you said "creating a balance of our accountability that is Money we've achieved as profit and the ones we couldn't'''. And also thinking we've fail when we are unable to get to our expectations, should not be regarded as failure rather it should be tagged as experience. Wow
Thanks bro alot

It's important to create that balance. Whenever we're starting out, I believe we have to be accountable to ourselves and this is how we guage our progress in life. Well, whenever I win, even if it's lesser than I expected, I take it as a win because I feel a win is a win. Thanks for your comment.

Expectations are hard and I agree that setting goals are a good way to view how well you are doing. I don't think we can really avoid it and not everything is under your control. So it's hard to really manage and the best you can do is do better going forward.

Yeah, I definitely understand this. In reality, I believe that with every expectations that we have, it's important to tailor it in order to connote sheer accountability to ourselves. These things are important in business

When you expect something and grow your business accordingly, I think that expectations should be realistic first.

Now you can hold yourself accountable and consistently work for that. Having expectations with accountability shows a real picture of where you are at the moment, how you are doing, and what to do next in order to achieve your target.
