What You Must Know About HPUD and Your Participation In The Long Game

I've been growing my hive power since April and in July I decided to up the ante and began growing my Leo power as well. And surprisingly in April I had 11,400k Hive Power and 200 Leo but then today I have 18,489 hive power and 2850 Leo power. My growth has of course been personal rather than relative. I've chosen to grow my both Leo and hive power together and even I'm doing it in a rather smaller way the fact that it's constant is basically what matters. Today is the popular hive power up day HPUD and I look at my progress throughout the month and I discovered that I at least stake 25 leo in a week because I post about four times in the Leo interface a week as well. So in a month i would have staked about 100 Leo

My other reward from Leo is converted to hive from hive engine which I also in turn power up. So In a day I power up about 0.8 hive which is about 25 hive in a month, my curation reward on a daily basis is about 5.72 hive which is about 172 hive on a monthly basis. So basically my power ups in a day are majorly from my earning and sometimes I usually power up if I saw a gain In let's say Ethereum. I remember when Ethereum started mooning. It moon from about $250 to 350$ and I sold from the profit and actually bought around 10 hive which I of course powered about 5 hive as well. I of course do not have anymore BTC because all my BTC has gone into my building project.

Truth is, growth doesn't have to be relative you can make it personal, grow on your own term. Many people say they don't have external fund to actually power up but then they don't need to go through the hassles. It's important everyone on hive discover a formula that's comfortable for then to influence hive positively while also positively influencing a certain level of growth on themselves too. My formula works quite well for and the days I bought hive in huge numbers was when the chain launched and I was powering down my steem and exchanging them for hive. currently i no longer have the money but then even as at that I've never dropped powering up.

Many people think they need to power up like @themarkymark or like any other big whale to make an impact. Truth is, there's no need to be in the limelight for powering up, don't see it as a benefit for only hive, see it as growing yourself, the influence you have as a stakeholder and as a part of the community. Hive of course is underestimated in all ramification and this wouldn't be forever. We have to understand that being part of hive is not just showing up everyday to post contents; that's part of it, we have to be involved totally, have a skin in the game and influence others too. This makes you a sort of an influencer on the Blockchain and in general.

Like I said, having a plan to grow is personal. If you don't have the huge numbers to stake then stake very little on a daily basis, you'll be surprised as to how much you can stake in about seven days or one month. You can even go into the second layer hive token of it's cheaper for you to stake, or invest in @trumpman once told me he had 70k leo staked and basically the system is also benefiting hive as well. I was looking at @leo.stats as at yesterday and and I was seeing users gradually staking up slowly and well playing the long game as @pouchon will say it. It's important to discover a strategy to grow, don't just wait till BTC is 40k to take the gains and power up. Put a skin in the game and you have a choice too on how to. Happy HPUD day, grow on your own terms.

That's so true. I did discover my own formula and powered up over 350 HP two days ago. Hopefully, before the month rins out, I will do more than that.

I rarely buy HP, I do not have much for extra cash but I did decide to Powerup a bit and I hope to do so again soon. but personally I would rather earn my Hive and Leo power through engaging in the community.

It has been all about Hive power up all along for me. However, it is too bad I won't be powering up today because I do power up anytime I receive a payout. So I guess it will be next month before I participate in HPUD.

Happy new month man

That's an excellent breakdown! We often don't realize how these small, seemingly insignificant power ups can add up in the long term. I am also looking to start staking my LEO.

I think you're more than right, people tend to overlook how far they can go by simply adding those small power ups that they can afford. Thanks a lot for you comment, hopefully you get to invest soon in Leo

I've only started my Leo power so that is very small right now. My Hive power is somewhat more, I just added to it last night.:-)

little by little I will build both up
