I'm Powering Up Today -- Then Enjoying My July Holiday In A Few Days | HIVE POWER UP DAY | JULY, 2021

Hello everyone and welcome back to my Hive Power Up Day activity. I'm in the thick of summer with temperatures reaching record highs in many states; primarily in the western part.

It's time for the July 1st Hive Power Up Day. With this power up today, I will have participated for the first seven months of 2021. In addition to that, for the U.S., July always means it's time for the 4th of July holiday celebrations. I've been gearing up for both and am now ready.

First, I'm going to celebrate today after working hard all month to be able to add 1,000 Hive to my Hive Power.

I'm happy to see that the HIVE Power Up Day initiative is still going strong and being enthusiastically supported by Hive members. As @traciyork stated in her ANNOUNCEMENT POST - Hive Power Up Day, July 1st 2021, it's been one year since @streetstyle delegated 1,000 Hive Power to her, and she took the reigns and continued Hive Power Up Day initiative in the style he started.

LEO FINANCE

Second, besides investing in the Hive blockchain by powering up my liquid Hive, I also participate in Community projects. One of them is Leo Finance. I don't have much liquid or staked amount. But it's not the amount that counts for your participation. It's believing in a project and showing how you believe by your actions.

So, I'm staking 23.437 liquid LEO to my Leo Finance Power. I;n still learning about the Leo Finance project, defi, and cryptocurrency in general.

OTHER PROJECTS

There are numerous other ways to grow your account on the Hive blockchain. In growing my Hive account, I participate in numerous project by being active in the following:

  • Delegated to various projects. In return, I receive passive income. The income received is then transferred to my Hive Savings Account;

  • Participated in the CUB Life Pre-Sale. Not only did I invest in this project, but I also now participate in their monthly purchase by sending Hive or SWAP.Hive to @cublife.

Yep. Took advantage of the dips in crypto last couple weeks. Now, I'm only going to keep on hand small amounts of liquid and try to increase my savings to take advantage of the interest rates now in place.
