Rabona | A Dream Come True | Owning a Football Club

Have you ever thought to own a football club/team or any other sports team. I have as a chess and cricket player. It's fun to manage them and see them performing. My dream of owning a sports team have come true by Rabona (A Soccer Manager Game built on Hive Blockchain). The best thing is it doesn't take too much time or energy unless someone is really into it to become the best one (just kidding).

The main theme in game is to own and manage a football club. When Starter Pack is bought, you get 280K RBN (in game currency) plus a football team of 11 players with different skill sets. The funds are used to buy/upgrade stadiums and other buildings so when a match happens in your stadium, income would be generated and other funds are used to pay player salaries and buildings operation costs. So one has to manage all financial and team strategies in order to get positive income. Else you can go bankrupt. Every 7.5 days a new season starts and all clubs participate in it. So Lets deep dive into it.

Season 13 started 1.5 days ago and in total my club has played 6 games. It's my first season and I'm already hooked into the @rabona. Reading game guide again and again, looking at player stats, asking questions in discord. I have changed my team strategy and position of players almost 3 times or mare than that and still looking how can I do best with the given resources and team. Your team is only capable if you know them. Use their strength and cover their weakness. Train them. Find position for them where they can do their best. I have been doing crazy things like placing a defender at offensive position it did work out in last game. I hope that strategy will work in next matches also.

There are total 17 players in my team. 11 were generated from starter pack. I signed a player and rest were bought from market considering cheapest price and salary. However when buying a player his skills matter but salary also. I bought all of extra players after 1st or 2nd day without considering much stats and realizing players can switch position whether the are Attacker, Defensive or Midfielders. OS is the overall strength of player and is calculated by different formula for each category. You can see there are a lot of stats, so for now we are not going to skip their details. Overall my team looks good but is lacking in Team Player (TP) stat which helps in team coordination and better performance of players. Currently there is now way to improve it, so we will se how it goes.

Stadium is the building which earns you RBN. You can set price of ticket to watch match and depending upon stadium capacity and your hardcore fans, the will buy tickets and earn you income. If not enough tickets are sold means ticket price is too high, try decreasing it. And if stadium is full, try increasing ticket price to generate more funds. There are 30 matches in a season nd 15 of them are played at home season means, only 15 will earn you income. So one should generate as much income to cover cost of players salaries and other expenditures of all 30 matches. Lastly if you perform good, you can get sponsorship from companies and the pay income at the end of season. That can save us a dime if expenditures are too high. So come-on manage your team and enjoy.
