Rabona S13 | Soccer Manager Financial Results | My First Season

avatar

Rabona - Soccer Manager is one of interesting dapp build on Hive. With a lot of new features and updates, It is getting better with clock ticking. Developers already informed they are working on tournaments and events. Exchange for RBN is already live. RBN is now only available from gameplay or exchange. My first season start was quite rough as I was still learning game mechanics and how to arrange my team in order to perform better, But in the end all went well. Let's discuss about it in detail.

Our Club name Falcons was able to secure 2nd place in the league table. Overall 30 Matches were played with 16 teams in league. Most of teams are NPC but still hard to beat. No one knows when things can turn against you. Out of 30 Matches, 22 were wins, 6 were lost & 2 draws. The best moment was my first match with #1 team and we defeated it. Yes we did it.

System in game is very much real to actual when it comes to finances. We don't own players but sign a contract with with to play for your club and in return a salary is payed to them. More clever players increase their salary offer each match so when a contract is close to end, either we have to pay demanded salary or the player will leave the club.

Main source of income comes from the stadium when home matches are played. Level of stadium decides how many seats are available. Depending upon number of fans, tickets are sold and revenue is generated. A small portion of revenue is also generated by shop, catering, hotel and parking but is of insignificant value and generally covers their operating costs. Total income for the whole season was 593K RBN which isn't bad when costs are compared.

When it comes to costs the major is salaries of players. Salaries have to be paid before each match. Rest of the costs are from the buildings operations such as shop, catering, hotel, parking etc. There are a few buildings which only have costs but provides benefits in finding new players. Experts says it is better not to upgrade those unless you have a handsome amount of income t afford them. Overall Costs were around 489K RBN.

Net income at the end was only 300-400 RBN as I started first matches with negative income, and after upgrading stadium, I was able to cover those costs. Thanks to the advertising contract which is paid at the end of season, we ended up with 105K RBN income. It is quite a good achievement as most of players starting game ends up to 100K-300K negative income for first and second season. So we did well at both financial management as well as team performance. Following graph shows net income for season.

Fans are important for clubs as more fans means more ticket sales, resulting in more income. Our target was 15K fans which seemed quite achievable in the middle but due to an unexpected loss in 3rd last match we were unable to hit it. But Still we were pretty close to our goal.

With that I say goodbye to you all. Season 14 is also close to end. I will share its details as well after the end. We are at #1 place till now and I hope we can maintain it till end. There are a lot of new challenges faced and we will prepare for them in next season. I may also disclose my playing strategy in next post. Have a good day.
