Welcome to the weekly edition of LeoFinance stats report.
This is a weekly report covering December 21, through December 27. Last one for 2020 😊.

If you want to learn a bit more about the LeoFinance ecosystem and dig into the numbers, this is the place to be.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Issued LEO Tokens
  • Top LEO Earners
  • Rewards to HP delegators trough the leo.bounties program
  • Daily stats on tokens staking
  • Share of tokens staked
  • Top Users that staked
  • Unique number of LeoFInance users
  • Posts/comments activities on the platform
  • Posting from LeoFinance.io interface
  • Price Chart

Issued LEO Tokens

Let’s take a look into token issuance and how it is distributed over time.

Below is a chart that represents the cumulative issued LEO tokens.

image001.png

This chart is representing the total LEO supply, circulating supply and burned tokens.

A total of 8.12M issued LEO tokens, 2.16M burned, 5.96M circulating supply.

Next is the issued LEO tokens from last week. Here is the chart:

image003.png

A total of 51k LEO were issued in the last week.

Let’s see how these tokens were distributed.
Below is the chart of the top 10 LEO earners this week.

image007.png

@onealfa is on the top followed by @rollandthomas and @taskmaster4450.

The @wleo.pool account have 5.3k LEO issued in the week. These are liquidity providers incentives.

Rewards from Bounties

As mentioned above in the last week there is some leftover refunds made from the bounties account. Also, the regular bounty to the HP delegators. Users who delegate their HP to the @leo.voter receive daily payouts in the form of LEO tokens at a rate of ~16% APR.

image009.png

@bridwatcher on the top followed by @oliverschmid and xxxxx…..

Staking LEO

Below is a chart that represents the daily flow of staked and unstaked LEO tokens. A positive bar going up shows a day where more LEO was staked than unstaked.

image011.png

July 2019 is excluded from the chart for better visibility. Those are the first days and there are a lot of tokens staked.

In the last month there has been large moves in the staking and unstaking numbers, due to the liquidity providers on Uniswap.

Prior to WLEO 1 there was a lot of unstaking. Then the hack happened, and users staked their tokens again. Then WLEO 2 was announced and went live with more unstaking. In the last week things seem to be stabilizing.

Below is the chart of the top 10 users that staked LEO last week:

image015.png

The @lbi-token is on the top followed by @onealfa and @arcange.

The Overall Flow of the LEO Token Supply:

image019.png

The yellow (liquid LEO) is an interesting category. A lot of movements here due to the WLEO launch.

Note on the yellow, liquid category above. It includes the LEO in the liquidity pool as well. If we remove that, the liquidity will be much lower.

Below is a chart of the ratio staked/unstaked tokens.

image017.png

75% staked and 15% in the liquidity pool.

LeoFinance Users

Below is a chart with the number of unique users that posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

image021.png

PHOTO 10 – overall users

A total of 1905 unique users have posted from the LeoFinance frontend.

In the last period there is an increase in the number of new users.

Monthly Active Users Posting from LeoFInance [MAU]

Here is the chart for the monthly active users that posted from the leofinance.io interface.

image023.png

December is not over yet, but I have added an estimation based on the current numbers. A further growth with more than 700 unique accounts posting in December from the LeoFinance interface.

A continues increase in the number of MAU in the last four months.

Activities on LeoFInance

Below is a chart of the LeoFinance activities with the numbers of posts from the LeoFinance interface and posts with the #leofinance tag.

image025.png

The yellow are posts from the leofinance interface and the orange posts from other hive frontends with the leofinance tag.

Here is the chart showing only posts made from the LeoFinance.io interface.

image027.png

The up trend in the numbers of post from leofinance continues in the last week as well with a total of 984 post in the week.

LeoFinance has introduced a 10% incentive for posting trough the native frontend. When users post from other frontends and just with the leofinance tag they have 10% less rewards.

Number of comments from LeoFinance.io

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.

Here is the chart for the numbers of comments starting from April 2020.

image029.png

The comments have gone parabolic in the last period. There is a drop in the comments in the last week that most probably is due to some technical issues that the frontend is experiencing, like Hive nodes etc. A total of 4007 comments in the week.

Authors that commented the most

There is an initiative in the last period for engagement on the platform and some of the large stakeholders have been voting comments a lot.
Here are the top authors that commented the most.

image031.png

@taskmaster4450le is on the top with 283 comments from the leofinance interface, followed by @filotasriza3 and @acesontop.

Price

All time LEO price

It is interesting to look at the LEO token price, keeping in mind the crazy ride that HIVE had in the previous month.

Here is the price chart in dollar value with average price for better visibility.

image033.png

Have in mind the above is an average daily price.

LEO price in the Last 30 days

Here is the price of LEO in the last 30 days also in dollar value:

image035.png

In the previous week LEO has been trading in the $0.22 to $0.24 range.

Love the way you did this @dalz with the projected MAUs. Great idea

I also noticed the comments down a bit. These node issues are annoying. We're working overtime to get Lightning DB into production ASAP 🤞🏽

My #1 mission in life right now is to make the UX top notch. Nodes and other Hive-based issues are making that hard but the solutions are going to make us more robust and better than ever. We're trying to roll Lightning out this week :)

I’ve got some interesting news on the microblogging front.

Working on some posts Atm. Still a bit swamped but I’ll get around to publicly releasing the new design. Your post about it the other day is oddly close to what we’re now working on and I also sourced some more inspiration from it. I think you’ll like what we’re cooking up

I'm back in the top ten again after a very turbulent last week. Leo's price has maintain s certain level of momentum despite the little hiccups with hive price. Great to see people Staking and making more Leo. Seeing projects on Leo too is sweet, we're gradually getting there.

Congrats on breaking back in.

The technical issues were a real bummer coupled with the holiday season. After the first of the year, hopefully things will be better.

Interesting to see, that even in a slow week, like the Christmas week, there has been activity. It is a slight drop from last week, but still high compared to two months ago, and this where everything stays still in the world.

Thanks for the update @dalz! Let's hope that in one year we speak everywhere of 10x numbers, including the valuation of LEO.

That is true, it is still up a great deal from two months ago.

Hopefully with the holiday passing and the technical issues out of the way, we get back to normal, on an upward trend.

Wow, wasn't expecting to see my name in 6th place there of the comments! Guess I'm more active than I thought these days - 95! Well, going to have to aim for 100 now!

Love the stats breakdown. I'd say the downtime in nodes (although I switched nodes from the little banner at the top I see and that seemed to resolve) and probably the holiday period has had an impact too! Expecting a bump in activity come January!

It is a bummer about the comments but as stated, there were technical issues that made it a bit of a pain in the ass. We also had the holiday season which took people away from their computers/phones. All the posting appears down in the last week or so.

Hopefully things will return to normal this week.

The charts are simply beautiful especially when it comes to engagement and posts. Hopefully, things would scale up as we begin 2021. Thanks for keeping this motivation coming with these stats.
