Liotes – A nice start
Today was a special day for the project Liotes. For the first time, Liotes Energy Mills (LENM) could be bought on the Hive-Engine market. The sale started at 2 pm CET.

30 minutes before the launch, we held an „ask me anything“ on the Liotes discord server. We didn't know how this would turn out. It was a first for both of us and we were already thinking what we would do, if nobody turned up. We were very pleasantly surprised that we were not alone in this ama. A big thanks to everybody who was present and shared this special moment with us.

A successful launch
When you prepare a project like that, you can't really know how it will evolve and it's difficult to define how a successful launch would look like. We were joking together and I said that I would be very happy if we got 2000 Hive form sales to start. So if we take this as a benchmark for success, our launch was very very successful!
About 3 hours after we put the LENM online, we have sold close to 2300 LENM for a total of more than 9200 Hive! At the moment of writing this post LENM token is the 3rd most traded token on Hive-engine!
There are still about 2700 LENM for 4 Hive on the market. So it's not to late to buy some. Once these 2700 are sold out, the token will be sold by us for 5 Hive or more.
The machine starts to turn
The proceeds of these sales was immediately transferred to the liotes fund and 100% of the hive was powered up and leased out. We could lease all the hive power for 14% or more. From now on, these leases will start to produce interests that we will use to fuel the whole machine behind this project.
A lot of things ahead
The launch was only the first stage of this blockchain adventure. Make sure to stay tuned for more exciting things to come !

Congratulations on getting so many pre-orders. I watched the vod of the AMA and I have to say that the ideas are nice. It's nice that LEN's base price should keep going up over time and that we can just HODL them.

I have seen the upward trend of CTPSB token but I wasn't around when it first started up. I haven't got a small fraction of a token there from the last competition and haven't decided whether or not I would be buying them off HE.

It sounds like day one went off successfully. That's a pretty amazing feat considering all the excitement going on in Leo today. I picked up a few of the miners but the swaphive pool is dry right now so I can't get any more until that gets replenished. I'm looking forward to what you've got in store. It sounds like you have a good plan in place, even though you can't really tell us what it is yet. :-)

Exactly! That's something that we are proud of the most! The LEO Finance is huge, and they took a lot of attention for their release, but somehow we did great and sold more than half of the $LENM that we released for early-birds...
We have all types of plans, long, mid and short term... We will unwrap them one by one in the next week/months... Still, Mills will work on creating the supply, that we need for further developments... In the meantime, we are working in the background... ;)

I'm excited to be onboard. I didn't have a lot of liquid HIVE so I couldn't buy as much LENM as I would have liked, but it's a start. I'll just have to invest more as funds become available.

You should be . I think one of the main reasons for that was early promotion by you guys . I heard many of the users ask me " Did you hear about liotes? " " Will you invest in it? " type of questions even before the release so great job.

Cool. For some reason this project really resonates with me and has brought me back to playing around with Hive ecosystem. I closed some Uniswap positions. Fees there getting beyond stupid. Let's see how this goes. Let me know if there's any way I can participate in the community more.

I found this project very interesting and I will be buing small amounts of LENM tokens whenever I can. I'm still receiving small amounts of other HE tokens on daily basis so I will convert them all to LENM (until you will run out of all LENM tokens which are currently being sold at 4hive price-level).
I'm still unsure how do you plan to bring demand which would allow to buy back those tokens.
