Well, it seems to me, crypto is all about the money! Tech and use cases is often overlooked. All a coin needs these days is a shiny marketing plan and a few big YouTubers shilling it to their followers.
Take Hive. The technology is superior and has many use cases, yet is has dropped out of the too 100!
No one is really talking about it! Marketing for Hive is non-existent! The only excitement for Hive I see is on-chain!
The drop has been frustrating and I wouldn’t be surprised if the slide continues.

Why do blockchain enthusiasts insist on promoting centralization??
There are alternatives if searched for regardless of what chain it is on.
What is that change going to be ?? IMHO, we should be up to at least $1 in price. There is just NO excuse to not be.
It looks that change has to come from each hivian and getting the word out. That's the only thing I see to change this price stagnation/

Its a tale as old as STEEM, as a marketer I see all the marketing mistakes made and yeah very little is spent on acquisition, and more focus is on the money and the tech which attracts a certain type of people. Projects like this are all banking on BTC bull runs to bring in users and then try to keep them, there's no real focus on onboarding and actively trying to reduce barriers and increase churn
