We have at our disposal the ability to create money. We can create pottery from mud. We can weave vegetation into baskets. We can turn wood into homes. We can write a story that becomes a popular book. We can write the lyrics to a song that everybody loves. There is power in creation and building.
Engineers are well compensated because one person can design a system that can scale a process. One person may be able to create one wooden bench an hour. A machine can create several in minutes. As long as that machine is running, you practically have one person making hundreds or thousands of benches.
We also build communities, networks, and groups. Not just anybody has the skill to keep a community together.
That circles me back to Hive, without realizing. Proof of Brain is so powerful because it allows anybody to create something of value. However, even after having created a post, if we haven't built ourselves a network, our work will likely go unrewarded.
