Ever since the start of the Pandemic, a lot of workers have been told to work from home and some of them have not been productive as they were before because it is not easy to work from the comfort of your home. In this article, I will share with you guys two great ways you can be able to be more productive while working from home.
Leave Work At Work
Working at home sometimes make it more hard to switch your mindset away from work and not think about it. It is important if you want to increase your productivity level while working for home, that you allow yourself to disconnect from work. You can do this by putting away your work gadgets such as computer/laptop and other work materials at a given time. You can even create a separate workspace away from your living area, dedicated for your work activities, which will make it more easy for your mind to switch from work mode to "Me time" or "Family time".
The more you put work out of your mind, the more refreshed and creativity you will be, the next day. I remembered one time when I had a very busy schedule and lots of workloads to finish, even after I called it a day. I tried to get some sleep but my mind was still at work mode, so I couldn't get a proper night rest/sleep which I really needed. I woke up the next day feeling exhausted because my mind hadn't switched from work mode to "Me time". Do not under estimate the importance of switching from work mode to "Me/Family time". Spending time with yourself or family and friends, doing fun stuffs and your hobbies can make you re-energized and more creativity, thereby increasing your productivity. Make it a habit to leave work at work.
