After the FTX collapse and bankruptcy saga, the entire crypto market got rekted and Bitcoin deep down to the $15.4k region but in the past few weeks Bitcoin and Crypto Market have recovered from the dip gap FTX saga created and now Bitcoin is looking stronger and more bullish as we are approaching the next Bitcoin halving, which is about 419 days or a year and 54 days away and also the market has reacted beautifully to the FOMC (Federal Open Market Committee) meeting news outcome two (2) days ago before the recent dip in the late of yesterday happened, the FED chairperson even said that the disinflationary process has begun. Which as it stands now $15.4k might be the bottom as no catalyst can push Bitcoin into a massive correction at the moment. The future is looking very Bullish.

What is Bitcoin Halving?

New bitcoins are issued by the Bitcoin network every 10 minutes. For the first four years of Bitcoin's existence, the amount of new bitcoins issued every 10 minutes was 50. Every four years, this number is cut in half. The day the amount halves is called a "halving" or "halvening". In 2012, the amount of new bitcoins issued every 10 minutes dropped from 50 bitcoins to 25. In 2016, it dropped from 25 to 12.5. In the most recent May 11, 2020 halving, the reward dropped from 12.5 to 6.25 BTC per block. In the 2024 halving, the reward will drop from 6.25 BTC per block to 3.125 BTC.

Bitcoin halving is surely going to bring in the good pumps we have been waiting for because the Bitcoin halving will reduce or decrease Bitcoin generated per block and that will make Bitcoin more scarce, and that scarcity plus the supply of Bitcoin is limited will make Bitcoin more expensive than before, but no one knows how fast or slow the bull market will come. 2 months ago in December, a lot of people were not expecting Bitcoin to have any significant pump this January but Bitcoin, as usual, has surprised and put them to shame once again, Just buy and be patient it will pay off.
