GOALS FOR 2021

I decided at the beginning of the year to train myself in the repair of the machine model Brother LK3 430.

Here in the region where I live in Brazil, which is Fortaleza, the capital of the state of Ceara, it is very difficult to find sewing machine mechanics trained to work with Brother bartacks.

I was called by my professor in the mechanics course to solve the problem of this machine that nobody had yet managed to solve.

Despite having worked in the area for 8 years, I never found this machine and as such I will start at 0.

After a preliminary analysis, I chose to follow the procedures that I will describe.
1 - Search the internet for videos about repairing this machine, result 0
2- Search the internet for service manuals, and parts list, result 3
3 - Translation of manuals into my Portuguese language.
Time to act

After the study is done, we will start next Monday with the disassembly and identification of defects in parts.

In the next posts I will show all the actions taken with photos to help any mechanic that needs support in the repair of this machine BROTHER LK3 430.

My decision to share my knowledge comes as a result of having a lot of difficulty in obtaining data to help the magnificent profession that is the mechanic of industrial sewing machines.

I hope with this good action to contribute to help among people what is sorely lacking in this increasingly impersonal modern world
