Drugwars is idle, another project gone rogue?

Drugwars.io, all the Hiveans that used to be on Steem, must have at some time encountered this game. If you haven't played, you must have seen at least one of the spam posts.
As I still have a small amount of Steem, I never quit playing the game, just for fun, and because it pays an extra buck or two. But since a few days now, I am not able to log in to the game anymore. Which sucks, but is kind of expected, the game has become less and less popular, and is in essence a ponzi scheme. The people that came into the game early have always had a huge advantage on the people that came in later, unless they paid a shitload of Steem to power up their "business".
So, is Drugwars dead? I don't know, it really could be, that means I lose a ton of Drugwars Dollars, but they aren't worth that much after all. Still, it would be another sad story for the Crypto Gaming Economy.

the whole thing was dodgy from the get go, i think i made a small profit but i know loads of people lost a lot on it.

Maybe, but I found it fun though
I am one of those who lost . I kept on investing more and more to get even but it didn't happen and lost most of my investment but meh it wasn't huge .

i had invested a large part of steem there, that's why I don't trust these games, you never get the return on the money invested
