ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A DECENTRALIZED SOCIAL MEDIA OR A WEB 3.0 PORTAL ?

While the market is flipping my thoughts I was browsing to see what are the top decentralized social media out there. Maybe I am in a different world my result is far from what I expect. First I do not see any sign of #Hive. I guess the form of decentralization I am looking for differ from what it is out there.

I did find #Diaspora. They push for #decentralization, #freedom and #privacy. You own everything that you post. I was looking for anything with crypto. It seems from what I see there is no blockchain involved. It may look to be a decent service since you can join, as a twitter user it will be smoothly done.

#Minds is another one coming strong with millions of users. I see there is a token for minds on uniswap. Again it looks like twitter, facebook, etc... It promotes freedom of speech and zero censorship. Minds focused on newsfeed, groups, discovery and blogs. The code is publicly available and everyone can bring contribution to Minds.

#Mastodon is a twitter like in a decentralized social media. Apparently it is a controlled system where moderators and anti-abuse tools will come quick at your service. There is no ads. Donations run the site. I look around for any blockchain to see if they have a token. Nada.

#Manyverse is a little fun to say. Everything is stored on your phone and you can even read offline.
This decentralized social media will remain forever free. No token, no blockchain, no, no, no. Apparently it is a barebone social media and it will remain as such.

If I want to keep going to mention all of the decentralized social media, this post will have to go for days where 20,000 words may be utilized to describe all of them. Fortunately the world has more than 8 billions souls. Everyone is free to use the social media to your liking. The need for decentralized social media is something inside of us.

It does not matter if you are introvert or extrovert or in between you will have the desire to say something and be heard. Before Steem and surely Hive, I did use Facebook, Twitter and many centralized social media. Way before social media, there use to be chat rooms where you can talk to other folks. #Messengers do come and go. The engine of social media is a place to interact and make between us a transaction.

A transaction could be exchange of services or things. I leaned more with Hive, it is where I find the social media I use daily, you get everything I mention in the names I wrote about on top. Do I need to repeat myself for #HIVE ? A reminder always comes handy. Before I bring down the house, Hive is still in the making. This is why we have hard fork every year to make change and get the blockchain rolling. What you see of Hive today is not even close of Hive/steem two years ago. Evolution at its best to align with growth in the emerging market.

Hive is not just a decentralized social media. #Hive is a blockchain powered for WEB 3.0. Hive has enabled it blockchain for more than 126 projects and counting. Actually all these decentralized social media can come over and use Hive blockchain to run their service free of charge. You know what I mean. There are so much to think of when you mention #Hive.

I think it will be more linear for me to say #Leofinance where we talk about finance night and days.
The value it brings with #CUB and many applications like #Hivestats and many more. Gaming, you have #splinterlands and #Dcity.
Hive itself is a reference for its users to find something useful for the WEB 3.0.
Visit this page to see other useful applications and incomings gems.

I wonder one day Hive will be the exemplary of what a blockchain should do. We need more voices to put Hive out there. Definitely Hive is undervalued to the capacity and abilities of all users. Sooner or later we will come to par with the power of this blockchain.
Best thing you can do, manage to hold as much as you can since lately Hive token is deflationary.
It will be hard to come by. So much use case and growing.
Best thing you can do for yourself, keep vesting in you

Hive requires more users and few more fancy dapps that can attract few more users :P People are looking for that killer decentralized social media and no body has yet discovered Hive apps. Marketing has always been the thorny issue on Hive. May be it's time for fancy Brave ads.

Due to the decentralized factor with Hive you and I need to do it for the whole thing. Hopefully we could find the funding for it.
I think the right course of action would be to bring the ads and then through the end result a proposal can come through.

That is the best thing about Hive, which is updated all the time and always innovating for all users and having the best possible blockchain.

I met a guy from turkey who told me he really was searching for a socialmedia website that works with crypto. When I told him about HIVE he was totally into it. But he told me like 5x times: "How did I not find this? I searched a lot." - to be fair. I believe him. When I onboarded it was during the times of Steemit. It was at the very top of google for me. But i can't find Hive to this day.
