Guide: Converting my LEO earnings to CUB.
Few days ago I written about completing my milestone of 10K LEO and my interest in investing in CUB. Since I am still earning LEO with my authorship and curation rewards so I decided to use my LEO to invest in CUB defi platform and try to build my CUB stake now.
For this I decided to convert my LEO to bleo
First I put my Ethereum/BSC wallet address, and amount of LEO I want to convert to bleo.
And after submitting the amount of LEO, I put my Hive username and I guess authentication was done using Hive-Keychain.
And I got confirmation for it on Hive-Engine too.
So in next step, I used "Exchange" in cubdefi platform.
I landed into Pancake Swap but I think bleo is not already added , so you have to add this token using "manage tokens". Contract information of bleo token is already available in Cub Defi Documents and after once adding bleo, you can swap it for CUB.
I am getting option to "Enable bLeo" and this transaction cost me 0.00025 BNB and after that I got "Swap" option.
Confirm swap cost me a transaction fees of "0.0011992BNB" and I got 6.2033 CUB that I deposited in Cub defi Kingdom
Depositing CUB again cost me 0.00239008BNB and my transaction is finally complete.
Hope you liked my post and this is now my start of getting 1000 CUB and I hope to reach soon and in this process , I hope to get some nice pLeo (polygain chain) airdrop.

Yeah, Even CUB APY is better then LEO curation APY but no idea which token (Leo or CUB) can appreciate more in future.
But having CUB will help in pLeo airdrop.

I have been waiting to get 100 Leo before I swap it. I don't think its worth it if its less than that
Yeah, That's why I noted all the transaction fees. Will check later that how much I burned in fees.
Since it was my first transaction, So I do not want to go with large amount of Leo.

In the long run, the small fees right now will not matter, compound interest will out compete the fees ^^
You might want to have a look at whether it's worth depositing such a small amount in one go.
You might be better off waiting until you have a bit more.
With a 50% APR you'll 3 Cub in a year on 6 staked, that's $1.20 at current prices, it could well have cost you $0.30 to stake that, personally I'd wait until you have at least treble the amount - if you think about the tiny daily rate.
Possibly, I'm not sure, but BSC fees aren't that cheap. It's a different matter on Polygon, fees are REALLY cheap there.

I have to agree with you there. I tend to think that it isn't really worth it unless your transferring at least 100 LEO because the bridge fee is 1 LEO and then you got BSC costs as well.

Yeah, next time I will definitely do more then 100 LEO..
I did it with small amount as I am doing first time, so do not want to risk more and this post is going to be "reference" for me now that I will not have dig for the links here and there.
I spent good one hour to just add "bleo" in Pancakeswap token contract as I am not able to find that "manage" option myself and googled some post to find it.

That is what I do every month. I try to move around 200 LEO or more into CUB to build a decent position and when it becomes big enough, I plan on getting some LEO back to power up or use on HIVE.

Nice.. After 1000 CUB, my next plan to keep one BNB and then I will move to Polygon chain or any other "hot" chain. But if nothing look interesting, then I feel keeping LEO is good bet instead just playing here and there.

This is good. There are a lots of option to invest. I am thinking about converting SPS to Cubdefi.
