Hive: It's my Wooden Anniversary.
In some sense I can say that Hive Buzz is a really amazing service , most of the time I read it notification and continue to move on as it keep giving me number like "you have reached X number of comments" and few day same notification with some new number but the notification that come yesterday was little different as this notification come only once a year and it also notified me that now I am half a decade experienced in the crypto universe. I discovered Hive within the first month of my crypto journey , I heard about Bitcoin around Thanksgiving and when I start researching about it , I landed to Altcoins and from Altcoin research to Steem Hive.
In this period I witnessed so many changes that targeted towards the constant improvement of the platform like Account creation token claim for easier onboarding, RC delegations that reduce the cost of operating active account tremendously and will be highly beneficial to the dapp creators and users. Curation -Author split to 50-50 to encourage curating others and 2 free downvotes to counter malicious actor. Also witnessed solidarity of the community during the fork and saw shaping of one the most successful game in whole crypto space i.e Splinterlnds.
Grown myself from Plankton to minnow and from minnow to Dolphin nd pursuing the road to Ocra.
Accumulated and earned nice amount of Hive and become part of many communities in this journey and saw Hive-Engine really powered the Hive second layer that make me realize that opportunity can be limitless in Hive. It is really hard for me to remember all the changes in Blockchain in last 5 year but it is easier to summarize what I achieved and learned in half decade of my journey in Hive and crypto that include like I can be my own bank, I can have a side hustle in comfort of my home, learned about financial freedom and start working towards accumulating wealth and knowledge, and most importantly it give me confidence in life also to see that I can have multiple streams of income.
I am hopeful, road might be little rough but I am able to reach my destination of financial freedom within the decade and Hive is going to be an important part of the journey.
