Bull Market is back! Now what?
2022 has been the year of hiccups! Rumors, speculations, FOMO everything riled up within the months to follow. Even though, BTC was outrageously building its price towards 100k but the pull back which started the decline in terms of price was noticeable. As a matter of fact, the winter had already begun in late 2021 before we could even realize. Since then BTC has been surprising us at every corner of the months. Initiating a breaking protocol of resistance over the months. 2022, it all started with 50k and crypto experts were gauging their eyes and shouting by saying this is it! A bounce back is imminent! To their surprise, we successfully crossed 40k, 30k and at last we are in 20k.
Volatility
The teachings of crypto has been vast! Overnight success is somewhat of a fairytale. Apparently volatility is real! Even though the effect of this phase could be a major disaster in a downtrend market. If you have purchased crypto while it was at its peak, you must be aware of the itchiness of these words of mine. Which is why media, people refers to crypto as SCAM or there is also another notion which is, crypto is not so idle finance system to rely on! Although, in their own believable way they do seem to be correct! If you can not accept volatility, get out of crypto ASAP!
Bear Market is at the door!
Wow! She came faster than were expecting. But even though we are going to struggle for God knows how many days, months or years BEARS came with gifts! Which is only seen by risk takers, people who seeks opportunities and most importantly those who have patience within themselves.
Hive scenario also takes a hit! It is often seen, whenever there is a decline in price of HIVE, many people tend to avoid doing their usual tasks. To start with, many do try to avoid creating contents, as mostly because the rewards got thinner. Whereas, the output seems much lower than the time provided for contents. Can't blame those types of content creators, as NEWB feelings are hard to deal with. Although, there are other types of content creators who somehow gets more active than before. As if they were eager to get a chance to grab this opportunity. It is somehow similar to the fact of being two sides of a coin.
The scenario of HIVE this year was quite epic to witness. Price of HIVE going down to less than 10 cents was one of the golden opportunity which many HIVE enthusiast eventually missed. Although, if I had 100k lying around I would have gone all in on HIVE. That might be little exaggerating but when looked at past events in crypto not only HIVE but projects with good fundamentals always bounces back. And once they do they keep that tendency to move forward without looking back.
Lessons learned here, crypto millionaires and billionaires are made during the bear market. Although, the results are to be seen once the market shows its actual form and users has cheap coins in their bags. Which eventually shows their true form!
- Collect your favorite coins when they are available at a cheap price. Bag and tag them and wait for them to 10* or even more.
- Long Term vision is a necessity for us. As I have done my share of short term thinking and so far speedbrakers were met along the way. Small risk but more rewards are at long term vision.
- I Take Profit. If I would not have done that during the bull market, I would have washed away during this winter season of crypto. Maybe not the whole part of the profit but always a portion!
- Whatever goes up, eventually comes down. Need to keep this phrase at my disposal.
- Be prepared for every situation at hand! make arrangements, work smarter and build an empire!
- feeling disappointed in crypto! take a break, crypto is here to stay! Get back, when you feel like it!
- Dollar cost averaging! Yup, one of the best way to build a portfolio over the time!
- Diversify! A way to feel safe during hard times. Hardly felt it during this bear season!
Nevertheless, once the market recovers what is your ideal plan going to be? Are you prepared/preparing?

Not taking profit out of greed for more is one of my biggest regrets from the last bull market. Got hit hard by the crash!
About diversification, I used to be for it for a long time. But over time I have realised Dada was right all along. Diversification only leads to mediocrity. I am slowly trying to get out of most tokens I'm invested in and keep myself to a very few trusted ones only.
Make mistakes, learn from them. I will probably loose count if I get to count my mistakes lol. But it's good we are getting enough time to get our self prepared for the next bull run.
Tbh I lost much more than I gained by diversifying in crypto. But that's also true during bears due to diversified invest of mine I was not needed to touch anything on Hive. One of the plus point out there. Although, like u said I am as well limiting my portfolio with some favored coins/crypto. Hive related assets covers most of my portfolio as of now 🙂

Then I came to my senses, you always have a twist up your sleeve and this one is no exception in this case. Educational and inspiring stuff, as always.
About fewer activity, I don't know why people consider posting as the only means of activity as curating, commenting, and other form of engagement also count towards it. But I must agree, people are away from hive during this bear season. They aren't making much by posting but what happened to engagement, as if they used to make thousands by commenting during bull season and now demotivated.
I won't dare to utter any financial term here, at least while you are here, but the ecosystem of hive is still unexplored by many, including me 😬
But whatever little layer 2 assets I have or came to know, they are good for bear season.
Apologies, if it sounded like click bait ! But this was one of those issues which I always ask myself during bear season. And sharing it with hive helps me keep myself motivated 🙂
Tbh engagement is one of those assets what makes Hive blockchain more exclusive than any other social media platform/any other blockchain. The key point to increase visibility, learn, and improve along the way. I need to work on on the form of engagement with other Hive users, like I used to in my old days. Well, a new goal to achieve I believe.
Well, u are being too humble. Sure, I would definitely love to learn and know about Hive even more. Don't we all do? We can't be everywhere but we should be keen enough to find ways to make things work for us. Also a lot of new things are happening apart from just Hive itself (layer 2 tokens, games, tribe and so on) it's better we all try to grab any opportunity we can find. As there are several ways to improve our assets in HIVE. Afterall stake in the pie kind of matters!

Ah, I didn't mean that but the title was intriguing as we all are looking forward to good days of Hive in general. And trust me, I enjoyed reading the post and a bit more motivated to carry on.
Couldn't agree more with you on this point bro, without engagement, hive is just another farming platform sucking out the reward pool, which is too bad. But we are seeing a lack of engagement these days, probably people are busy doing real-life things or simply they are not motivated. Whatever it is, we must not mix financial benefits with social interactions like we see in our daily life.

Lesson Learned from the last bull which was my first time.
Could have played a little better but still Alhamdulillah.
About the profit-taking, I think one of my biggest mistakes was to buy/sell everything in one go instead of in portions. Lost opportunities to make thousands just because I wanted to touch the highest bar of my targets in one go instead of taking small profits on different targets.
Yeap, hive is like the best investment here on the bear, content creation is giving a lot of HP which is going to be huge on the next bull. People are only seeing the liquid HBD they are getting instead of the possible rise against the larger HP we are staking as payouts. I am seeing hive at 10x on the next bull.

I don't want to talk about my first bull lol it was kinda like a kid got all the toys at first cry but broke them before he could even play with them. From my POV u did great.
This is sth which I also suffer at different occasions but Alhamdulillah I have gotten way better if I compare myself with Mr Rehan of the past lol. They do say the more you give time the better you get! It will work eventually but it will take hell lot of time and the urge to not sell even after seeing ATH!
I am pretty sure it will happen. Although, not sure if it will happen anytime soon but I would definitely enjoy Hive going 10 times from where it is now. Which is why grabbing those cheap HIVE's atm. Like I said above, I will not touch them since I see the price of Hive going near 10 times from where it is now. You may as well say HIVE is one of my long term asset, which is going to serve me big time. Till than let's save those Hive and all the other assets regarding HIVE!

I feel like Hive is always a place of hope, no matter what the situation was before or what will be happening in future. There are always opportunities wandering and we just need to grab them with our both hands. Yes, it is quite true that during bear most content creators do not find enough continue their usual tasks which are making blogs, I would like to say the majority of them are newbies. Yes, I glanced at that thing very clearly.
The main reason having the thoughts come in just because they do not look at the bear market before and have no experience of that they just and you know how easy quitting is! Definitely, there is hope during the time of bear, as I have witnessed of the last bear I am uttering those words. In that time one can hold the token and you, me and people like you know what's going to happen in a bull market until then you have to exist.
It's difficult for Newbies to get around in Hive. It has been one of the biggest issues around hive. Although when we think of HIVE blockchain as an opportunity, several issues gets solved by themselves. Yes, I do understand it can difficult but I suppose it is worth it!
The blockchain of HIVE has lot to offer, it depends on us how much are we willing to take!
Patience and the will to see bigger picture is indeed necessary for all crypto hodlers like you and me. Only than we can survive all this bears up ahead. Till than lets accumulate and build our own empires in the blockchain.

I joined Hive during the end of the 2021 bull, and I sure as hell wasn't expecting the humungous dive from on top of a skyscraper just a few months later. After that it just kept on dropping, step by step, level by level.
Yet, I say I took the "hit" quite well. Yes, I don't have much of an investment in the game or any particular project, but, who doesn't like to be on the "greener" side of things?
All in all, this surely was a great learning experience. Now it's just time to gather and use all of that experience and knowledge, then wait for the next bull-bear-bull run, because on my next bear market experience, I'll be ready.

You see, every smart investor will always take advantage of the bear market by investing more and more if the cash is available knowing fully well that when the bull market comes, there will be smiles on their faces. Taking risks is part of business and from my observations so far, the wealthiest ones are the risk takers, also patience remains the key in the world of crypto.
Only if urgent financial needs will be reduced from my end, I would have gone far in utilizing this opportunity.

Here not only investors with real $ can invest but unlike them people like U and I can also invest. Which is time and effort. Which you are doing pretty great. It will take time to grow but it's worth it.
