Lets Get To Know Chamath Palihapitiya A Bit More

Chamath is a billionaire who understands how these people on Wallstreet operate and has developed a heart for the little guy. A couple of weeks ago, Chamath was on CNBC and talked about how technology has level the playing field and the little guy has as much computing power has the hedge funds. With regards to Gamestop, Chamath felt that the little guy found a way to exploit the system, just like the big boys have been doing for years and the little guy is not at fault it's the system.

Chamath sat down with Bloomberg for an interview yesterday. It was a great interview as I gain additional insight into the mind of Chamath.

Chamath believes that we should all effectively get access to the same resources and that as many of us as possible should be allowed to get to the starting line and then the gun should fire and then the outcomes will be what the outcomes will be.

I have watch many interviews on Chamath and the guy is a passionate guy. Here’s what I learned watching this interview.

Chamath takes pride in the fact that he has strong opinions, but their weakly held because they are more about judgement. But then he takes a step back and because he has a good Team around him that question what he says and push back, he then uses that data to calibrate an assessment of the truth based on facts.

Chamath feels he is a good decision maker and thinks he knows where the world is roughly going, but wants to keep the pressure on himself to develop an instrument that the retail investor could use to close the inequality gap for themselves.

I think one of the greatest comments Chamath made was that he said he was born with nothing and will die with nothing...a very powerful statement from a man who became a billionaire in his 30s and has a net worth of more than $10 billion.

is the icing on the cake.
At least we know he will not do anything out of ordinary
to go ahead.
We are gathering intelligence, experience
this time around.
