Save your SEED PHRASE

A few hours ago, there was a thunderstorm in my area and I switched off my PC in a hurry and left. After some time, I switched it back on and I saw a message that I had been signed off from every site that I used including the extension wallet SOLONG.

I tried login but was not able to access it. Thankfully, I had saved my seed phrase but to my horror, it showed a zero balance account instead of the funds I had in it.

For a minute or two, I was totally in disbelief thinking what was happening and after that, I tried to get back to the addresses that I had saved and added it manually. Again, no use.

I also tried logging in to various other SOL wallets but each time, zero balance even if I added the addresses too. I hope I am making sense as I am still under a shock.

As a last attempt, I tried using the same seed phrase but this time I saw that there was something like a path being shown under, and it was written in brackets - deprecated something and I chose that, and viola, there were my funds to my relief.

So, please make sure you save those SEED PHRASE otherwise, if you lose it, you can say goodbye to your funds forever.

Please also make sure to operate the same account on another device which will ensure that you can open it even if you lose access to the others.
