Think about this.
You are educated and you want fine employment but you are not willing to work for less even if it means loads of experience and exposure.
Time passes and other students are already in the search for jobs and because of the leaps in tech and other factors, naturally, the freshers would be given preference. Now, would you want to be questioned why you were not willing to work and wasted precious time, or would you just settle for a lower perks job just so that you are employed in the meantime and gain an experience to be inserted in your resume?
An actual life experience of a person known to me.
The above guy is still not employed by the way and will he be able to get a good job offer, only time will tell. He is still studying.
Is not an income necessary when once you are capable of fending for yourself?
Does it not look odd if you do not work after your education?
Parenting to an extent plays a responsible factor in the above scenario.
It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to educate children on self-sustenance and also responsibilities. It also means that children should be taught that it is not good to live off other people.
There is also another factor known as laziness which is as grave as other vices. I know people who were too lazy to work and ultimately tried to grab others' wealth which is very wrong indeed.

Sayee, parenting is personal and it varies place to place country to country. So I can give my opinion since you asked for it, but it won't be anything that you can or should agree on. The little I know about you and your background, mine is so different from yours, we can be in two different planets, and I am talking about when I was India :) Not now when I am abroad.
With that said, I don't care about money or jobs. I don't believe people need to work for others to be successful in life. That is what I will be teaching my kids. If they listen to me, that's fine, if they don't and form their own opinion (which is very likely) I welcome that too. So regarding the problem you described is not a problem in my books at all.
But like I said it can be a problem to you. Life is like water inside a bowl, whatever shape of bowl you have it fills it up. My bowl is different from yours, and there is nothing wrong with that. You life fills up your bowl, and mine fills up mine.
I don't think this helps you at all, but you asked for an opinion and you got it :)
I can understand what you say. Some people still expect things to be like it was decades before, you know the nine to five job and all. I guess, that still is the norm in most parts of the country even now and if someone chooses to be a wildlife photographer, it would be a shock to the parent who expects the child to be a doctor or engineer, lol.
I am really thankful you took the time to read and comment in spite of your busy scheule. It means a lot.
Unless you're advancing yourself academically or by learning a new skill to keep yourself updated, I don't support the idea of not willing to work. Sure, not willing to work for less is okay but after a certain point, given the subcontinental nature of jobs, it's not the wisest thing to stick to. This could maybe work in the west, I'm not sure. But this hardly ever works in our circumstances.

not wanting to work for less when there is no better offer is kinda silly, when there is no options available one just need to stick with the only path .........
