Afternoon everyone.....

It’s been extremely hectic the last six weeks, my phone has been ringing off the hook with calls for jobs. While I’m happy to be working again, it’d be nice if the jobs were a little spread out. Everyone wants the jobs done now.

Uuuuuuggggghhhhhhh......

Anyhow...... I’m really trying to stick to my plan of going through a box from my private security place each month. I’m a little behind but not to far behind.

In digging through the current box, I came across this piece. I remember buying it distinctly. I had to go down to Florida for a wedding about four years ago in the Tampa area. Right across the street from my hotel was an LCS.

When I was wondering around, I asked the owner if he had a junk bin? He replied only at request. I said that I was interested. He asked what size 1 ounce, 5 ounce, or ten ounce? I had never gotten that as an answer before, so asked for each one.

He brought out the ten ounce first, and I immediately saw this bar right on top.......

How was a hand poured silver bar from the Atlantis Mint in a junk bin?????????????

I asked what the price was and he replied $1 over spot.

I picked out the Atlantis Mint ten ounce bar and said sold......

It’s the triple skull bar from them.

They are no longer in business from what I’ve been told. I did check the website a while back and everything was listed as sold out. I guess so, it’s a shame because they did great pours.

I’m glad that I completed the pieces I wanted from them before they closed. This bar is a double, I have one directly from them and it’s in pristine condition.
