Well I don’t have a Morgan in my possession at the moment that you haven’t already seen. So what’s the next best coin to show ??????

The coin that replaced the Morgan silver dollar.

That would be the Peace Dollar.

Here is an extremely exquisite example of the Peace dollar. I totally forgot that I had this one, after seeing it I did remember exactly where and when I bought this.

Every three months they hold a coin show at a Boys & Girls Club about 30 minutes from me. At least they used to, not sure if it’s still a thing. But it was for several years.

I really wanted a bunch of awesome world coins this one dealer had, but he wouldn’t budge on any of his listed prices at all. So after three unsuccessful attempts I gave up.

The table I bought this coin from was an older gentleman, I think he was selling off either his own or someone else’s collection. The table wasn’t cluttered with tons of stuff, it was all neatly laid out on a dark blue blanket.

This 1924 Peace dollar grabbed my eye immediately. I asked how much he told me the price and I just said I’ll take it. It seemed like the right thing to do.

So here is that Peace Silver Dollar....
