This year has really been absolutely horrible so far. And the hits just keep on coming.......

Just a few hours ago, we got the call...

My uncle passed away

It was not a coronavirus death. He has been in 100% lockdown for nearly two months now in his sons beach house in Dayton Beach, Florida.

He was in remission from cancer for over a year now, and his son didn’t want to take any chances. So he was living alone in the house, his son brought him food daily leaving it on a table in a breeze way.

They had spoken yesterday afternoon, and when he went to bring him food today yesterday’s food was still there. He called his cell phone several times no answer. Then he decided to go in......

John was found dead in his a chair with the television on.

I’ve been on the phone non stop for hours trying to get information about a service. The information I have so far is that his doctor wants to run an autopsy on him to find the cause and the body probably won’t be released until Monday or Tuesday.

He wanted to be cremated so no true funeral, but because of the circumstances once his body is released they are immediately cremating him. I was told they don’t embalm due to cremation so the body will be starting to decompose by then.

Sorry to be a bummer, just needed to vent.
