My 2020 Silver Coins, part 3
Happy New Year, HIVER and Stackers!!!
We have come to the third of this series. It took the whole year to accumulate these pieces. And some are still coming. You probably can guess what those pieces are.
Today I will be featuring the Australian Coins. I showed one yesterday, but there are more. These are all produced by the Perth Mint. The Perth Mint has come up with several new designs the past four years.
2020 Australia 1 oz Silver Swan BU
The fourth annual series of 1 oz limited mintage Silver Swan coins with designs varying each year of 25,000 coins and .9999 fine Silver.
2020 Australia 1 oz Silver Double Pixiu BU
A new coin release by the Perth Mint with a limited mintage of only 50,000 coins.
2020 Australia 1 oz Silver 30th Anniv Kookaburra BU
The Silver Kookaburra is the longest-running silver bullion coin program at the Perth Mint. 30th-anniversary release.
2020 Australian 1 oz Rectangular Silver Dragon Coin BU
The worlds first-ever rectangular legal tender bullion coins. 3rd release of the Australian Rectangular Silver Dragon Coins.

No, the Swans are not out yet.
They usually come out later in the year.
But this year is different!
It must something to do with pricing.
The ASE, Britannia, Maples, Krug, Kook, Panda, Elephant, and Kangaroo are all available.
But the Black Flag, the Swan, the Emu, and other high premium coins are not out yet.

I wish they were it a coin design. I thought that a rectangular coin was pushing it a bit far. Bt now they came up with a triangular coin. I don't know where is this going. Since I am not really into this I won't buy the triangular coins!
I love the details of this coin, and also if there is a mythical animal that I collect, it is the dragon!
I don't usually think of geometrical shapes, meaning rectangle, square, triangle, as 'coins'. I am intrigued by the triangular shaped ones though. I also know there is a design feature that drives some nutty, lol! Anyway, at this point, besides the purpose of stacking, I like to look at the detailing and 'artwork' of silver. Then, if the need arose to sell some, I would part with the regular bullion first.

The Double Pixiu is beautiful. The dragon s my favorite design. I would have bought as is, without it being called a coin, though.
I think it is abuse to call rectangular and triangular-shaped, as coins. They could have sold them as bars and people would buy them!
Thats very true any silver in a rectangle shape in my mind is a bar.
