Why Stack and Save?
After you have set aside cash for emergency reserves, it is important to save and enjoy greater security in your life.
Savings gives you peace of mind and expands your options.
It is not always that there is something substantial left after necessary payments and expenses. Some may have very little or no discretionary income at all.
Slow and steady
It is the middle of April. Have you saved at all the past 3 months?
If you have a challenge of keeping money in the bank, why not purchase one coin, and save the money that way.
Buy one coin. Any silver coin.
Next month, buy another one. And another the month after. By July, you would three silver coins.
Saving silver as a monthly expense
Saving is one of the most basic of financial advice. The importance of saving is rarely disputed. It is incredible that many of us aren’t following through on that tip.
There is another alternative. Why not buy silver every month!
It would be like automating your silver savings into another monthly expense
It will help you reduce the temptation to spend all the money without planning ahead.
It’s easier to pay yourself first when the paycheck comes in.
It is like buying to save... exchanging fiat for real value.

The primary of my blog is to spread the idea of saving on metals.
You buy silver in several ways.
There is your Local Coin Shop, where they buy and silver and gold. They are especially good if you want to take home your silver now. You can buy one or two, and you can sell your silver and gold there too.
I don't have a local coin shop near me, so I buy online. You can buy at JM Bullion, APMEX, SDBullion, Bulllion Exchanges, Provident... so many places, and do not forget Ebay.

In my 20s I used to go about it this way. I was less dependable as was my wallet. But there came a point for a steady year or two when I looked at every transaction I was making and thought "how much silver could this buy?" I knew the spot price of every 90% piece from dimes to halves.
Like....hmmm "If I don't but this beer I could get another Franklin halve or two Washington's. Might even be able to swing five Mercury Dimes!"
It was neat and put me in the right mind set. I've always collected numismatically as well but stacking for silvers sake is still a lot of fun!

But nowadays, I don't think anymore. I just buy. It's been like this recently for the past three years. I guess when your serious about savings you just have to do what you have to do.

Saving is definitely the key. Also Silver looks likes it might break out and start moving back up on the stock market. Those silver mining corporations I bought on the dips are already green. Though I guess it would probably depend on whether or not USD moves up or down.

Silver and gold does give you peace of mind. It's always been there and has had value; sometimes more than others, but it is something no one can take from you. Baby steps, if that's what folks need to do; putting one foot in front of the other! Take care sis!
