Hello and welcome to this SPinvest post
SPinvest is a tokenized investment fund/club for all users of social blockchains. Everyone is welcome! The concept of SPinvest is to get rich slowly by using time tested methods of earning, saving and compounding long term. This lets SPinvest offer an ROI of 20% per year on SPI tokens. We encourage long term investing on and off the blockchain. We hope someday everyone will HODL some SPI tokens that can be bought directly from @spinvest are through the steem-engine are dex.steemleo exchanges.

Hello everyone, with all the stuff that has been going on lately it has been hard to keep up. Spinvest is planning to power down all its STEEM POWER holdings and reinvesting the monies into something else. Over the past week, the ratio between STEEM and HIVE has been closing in and the 2 tokens are almost the same dollar value. I'll not be that shocked if the price of HIVE drops below STEEM as it's not the norm for a hard forked token to be valued at more than the token it's been forked from.

Being on lockdown gives me lots of time to sit at the computer with my legs up on the desk thinking deeply into things. So as said before, SPinvest is planning to power down all its STEEM holding and reinvest them off-platform and keep earning from HIVE as we have done from STEEM since launch. Basically swapping over. My sudden thought is we could be selling off the better token? My next thought is maybe they'll both sink and to think proper long term, SPinvest needs to get away from being so invested in both platforms. At the end of the day, we all want more STEEM/HIVE, BTC, silver/gold, stocks and other investments but the end results are measured in dollars/pounds/euros. Why earn 20% from the HIVE per year when what are earning is losing dollar value? Would it not be better to earn 6-8% on something more stable and supplement that with earning from the HIVE blockchain? Just a thought.

We would need some sort of SMT are HMT to make this happen. It's just a thought but it's interesting to think that if we powered down both all STEEM and HIVE holdings, we would have $30,600 to play with. Revalue the SPI token to a dollar value and go from there. Goodbye to you, steem-engine/hive-engine. Of course, this could not happen as i would have no idea on how to plan such a thing around the club but it's an interesting thought for the long term. I am hopeful that both STEEM and HIVE do well and thrive but the charts tell a different story for the future.

You have a few options, you can invest in stablecoins and get interest from companies like Nexo. Another option, you can invest in the platform of Synthetix, you have plenty of options.
