I used MySpace and Orkut, which was insanely famous in some countries but quite unknown in others!
But I agree with everything you said! I'm also a newcomer but I'm enjoying every minute I spend in Leo and Hive.
I must say it's being a little hard to build a network from scratch but I'm trying to be more consistent everyday.

Consistency and great authentic content! That's the key! As stoics say, you become what you put your mind into. First article might not be so good but it's a start...we learn from our mistakes and others advices!
