The crypto community is still incredibly immature
If you are looking at social media at the moment it seems that crypto is doomed. Yep, that's right we all had a good run, and now the show is over and we should head for the next big thing... Crypto's fate after all is completely dependent on the centralized exchanges and if they fall... crypto is dead.
People like this show how they have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Unfortunately this is probably echoed by many out there, especially those who just follow some of the "big" accounts and listen to the mainstream media. In all of this noise the actual purpose of crypto is lost completely. It is to rid us from the middlemen and bring about a decentralized community/economy or system in general.
Crypto is not dependent on CZ Binance or on Coinbase or on FTX or whatever. It simply rises and falls with the technology of the blockchain and its community. BTC is a great case in point: even though BTC could be seen to be largely outdated, it still serves its main purpose: to provide a secure network in which users can send and receive BTC. Nothing more, nothing less. That alone is still revolutionary in a world dominated by banks and governments trying to control your financial autonomy.
In fact, crypto thrives when CEXs fail and when it becomes apparent that no one has the power to control it! That's the whole point. Now of course there is much more than BTC out there. Hive is a great example since we can store a lot more info on the chain and utilize smart contracts to build dapps for all kinds of areas (social media, games, finance, video storage etc.). In other words, it is a much better tool for creating a true web3 ecosystem. There are other great projects out there as well like Koinos or Rune which all have their individual niches and goals.
What you will find when researching about good crypto projects is that they are not only in theory decentralized, but in actuality. For projects like these, it does not matter what Gary Gensler sets out to do. They can survive the onslaught which everyone who looked at crypto in this way knew was going to come. Let it come. This will only strengthen the most resilient of projects with the strongest communities. Don't FUD. But build.

The more fud the closer the bottom, usually reverse when majority is bearish..
And we don't need CEX's, DEX's will take market share, and sorry for usa they will only fall behind the evolusion and miss on making a lot of profits hehe
perfectly summed up :) The only thing we have to figure out are the fiat on and off ramps... although it would be nice if we just price stuff in crypto!
Yeah that would be nice, that's the challenge and last puzzle to separate state and money :)

Crypto community on twitter is way immature...
I believe those tweets like crypto is dead are done intentionally... To create panic and peeps sell their bags in loss.
Even after surviving Luna, FTX.. still some peeps believe crypto will be dead without these centralized exchanges.
As far I think these so called CT influencers know when there will be more FUD in market... It will perform Good. Building is the way!

All these crackdowns from the SEC will only end up strengthening the crypto world sooner than later.
Those causing the FUD are just doing it intentionally for the ignorant ones to lose their bags.
The more they spread fud, the more we will get stronger and fight back.
I did all this the first time and the wise people will remember when the same thing happened with XRP and after that the market went very high for a while, same thing happened this time.
