Meet my Pleb City !
Yesterday @cryptomaniacs send me another one of his super annoying messages, telling my I should try Dcity. I already have a very nice stack of Leo and Actifit tokens so I said..fuck it. Ok, let's diversify my hive portfolio and "invest" a bit on this, LOL.
So, ladies and gentlemen and binaries and fairies and non binaries, allow me to introduce you to my pleb city as it stands now after buying approximately 150 worth in hive cards:
Overview
Demographics, apparently I am getting some immigrants too. I hope they are not taking our jobs or I am definitely calling ICE:
Overview of buildings and bussinesses and stuff. As you can see some aren't working because apparently I either don't have enough people to man them or my citizens are lazy bums prefering that sweeeettttttt well fare check:
Anyways, I am still trying to understand the mechanics but what I like is that this game is mostly a set and forget thing. Logging once a day for upgrades and shit is more than enough. I will probably "invest" (AKA gamble) some more hive and hopefully it becomes a success like splinterlands did. Or I will lose all my money and go find @gerber and kill him.

Weird to see how long it took you to jump on board... Nevertheless, welcome!
The first hints you need to consider: buildings that are unmanned are not producing income, but contribute to popularity. Positive popularity gives you a population bonus (the higher it is, the greater the bonus is). Building are occupied with workers in ascending order if their ID. To optimize your city, you need a second account to where to temporary send some buildings that you don't want to consume workforce.

Maybe give @exodegame a punt too if you've got some spare Hive - it's bringing in New users to platform and it's only in its Alpha phase.
It's a risk, but I've punted a few hundred dollars on it.
It's more of an active game than DCity mind, but also tradeable cards. Some nice looking deals on contracts I've gone for, where you get cards dropped weekly for life - kind of like 'mining' the cards I guess.

I also just found out their Alpha packs are limited to a print run of 200K, so if it takes off (excuse the pun) they could be a nice little investment -
I also like the fact that it's outward looking, people are joining Hive just because of this game.
I just can't help myself, I've been buying more and more cards, that's the problem when you've got Steem sitting on limit sells!
