Backlink Data from leofinance.io

TF CF.png

OK, let's look at some Backlink stats on Leofinance.io. First, we see TF / CF.

TF means the link quality. So a Link, for example, Forbes would have a lot of trusts, because it's an old nonspam domain. High Trust can be a good indicator for Google Rankings. But that's third-party data, so it's not 100% accurate with google algo.

CF is the same. It's the quantity. High CF and low TF mean most time spammy backlink profile. In the case of Leo I would say it no spammy GSA Backlink builder or T2 Silos structures involved, so it's because most domains have no age. Age is a trust factor. Older Domains have more Influence and Trust than most Search Engines.

link context.png

Nothing much to say about that topic, Most interesting is the crawled URLs and Indexed URLs data. It looks like google likes leo and indexed a lot of URLs in the Search Engine.

languages.png

Most Content on Leo is in English. That fit really well the incoming links too. There are also in English.

Most of the links come from other Tribes, "posted on LEO finance". So the 1 by 1 Data is not accurate. But we can see a Trend in the gap between the Incoming Languages and Site Languages. This cap can be interpreted as a little Trend by countries that use Leofinance.

In deeper backlink profiles, it's clear to see Tribes are the backbone of the profile. That shows the high CF in Data.

Like Steemleo.com / onlinebuzz.com /archnoapp.net / and so on.

backlink breakdown.png

Most links are Dofollow and Live. It means no spam. Spam would show a lot of removed Backlinks and a crazy Dofollow / Nofollow rate.

looks all clear.

Anchor text.png

The Anchor is also very clear.

A lot of Branding Anchors and Urls. And some neutrals like here and post is also nice.

Because of the clear profile, there can be easily made some optimizations.

With some work, it would be possible to rank more difficult Keywords ( and a lot of easy ones). That could bring more Traffic to Leo.

I don't have made a deep keyword analysis, but I would say something with DeFi - Cubfinance, Financetalk or crypto in general. There will be a lot of low-hanging fruits that can easily bring a lot of traffic and attention to Leofinance.io.

Besides Tribes, Leo becomes also attention from bitcointalk and other crypto sites. I don't post them all because I can't say, there are trustful and no time to check them all :D

Another funny fact is Anchor number 8. https://leofinance.io/@onealfa. It is maybe because @onealfa is the LEO super whale or I don't know :) Funny what a natural anchor text profile can look like.

BTW, the Backlink data don't include Social Media/signals.

Some Broken Links that should be fixed:

https://www.leofinance.io/@hivecoffee
https://leofinance.io/faq
https://leofinance.io/leoshop
https://leofinance.io/leopedia
https://leofinance.io/syndication

They are more 404 errors. They should be all fixed. These sites all have an average of 10 Referring Domains. It's a waste of link influence to not fix them. a 301 redirect to the main page would fix it.

If any questions from LEO-Team or Khal, feel free to ask. I'm happy to help in optimisation :)

It's a good foundation/profile to build on.

Cool report, thanks for this.

Nice uptrend in terms of daily backlinks viewed which a good sign. I'm in the habit of cross posting on Publish0x almost daily and including a backlink to the original article to help with this. That said, you do have a good point that backlinks could also come from established websites such as BitcoinTalk. Perhaps I will consider also posting here to help with this.

So what does all this mean?

I take it that Leofinance is doing fairly well. You mention age being the a factor that kind of hinders it and there is nothing to do buy let time pass there.

Outside of that, and fixing the broken links, what can be done by the community to help improve this?

First, thanks you ask that question :)

It will be a long answer so I decided I will make a longer post about it.

In short and easy:

Social signal: Posts that people share around other social media sites are always nice.

Think about here as a tree with roots. As more and deeper roots a post has, has more attention spend search engines on that. Social signals are not the main Ranking factor but think about the little supporter roots here.

Guest posts:

Do you know some Site that's related to the Topic Crypto or Finance? If you can contact that person to post about LEO it will always help. It is a bit tricky because a bad reputation is also possible. So the top-notch sites always have better influence.

So it would need that some deeper analyst and outreach to that person that owns the other sites.

Those are the strong roots, that give a lot of trusts. And if we think deeper. If a guest post on another site or a press release gets also a lot of attention and social shares. There are more roots again.

Google has a budget for every website about "crawl rates" as more quality links there, the higher the budget becomes ( in easy).

Relevant Content that brings attention to LEO:

Traffic is always nice. If we break it down easy. It is good.

Think about what would do other people search :) There are some ways to optimize, but that's something it must be done carefully :D

Anchor Text optimization:

Also tricky topic:

Branding anchors are always for average links the best community can do. I don't go deeper because that is something I would need to talk about Khal, to prevent abuse.

In short, LEO could rank Keywords like How to buy Bitcoin ( and other Bull Run attention magnets).

Onpage:

And there are also on-page things that can be very useful o chance ( more silo structure of links), but that is already good. Maybe a related topic area, like Google has. Always very good to have a strong on-page link structure.

I think it's now more confusing than before,

In short, what can the average LEO users do? Post relevant content and share it on social media.

LEO Hustler: Talk with other News Sites ( crypto or finance related) and ask them there are interested in interviews.

There are some more ways, i will write about soon :)
