Open Mind for other opinions on Hive

Lately, I see more and more crazy people believe in crazy things. On the Internet, on News, and also on the streets. In my opinion, these people are in most cases retards.

In the past, I saw some idiot conspiracy topics on hive. Sure there are most times really stupid.
Some examples, Flat earthers, 9.11 conspiracy guys, nature people, religious sect people, Corona people, and so on.

What happens to the authors was down votes and bullying. Sure I would not upvote/support content like that too. But to crow in the user base, people should be more neutral (large holder also).

If these people stop hive, we also lose marketing. Not all readers from this content are retarded like the content.
Some of them have thousands/millions of followers on other social media. This content gets purged and shadowbanned.

These people/ groups have a reason to use censorship-resistant platforms + thrive their Followers to this.
If they promote their content on Hive, they also promote hive. In that case, it would win/win.

But for that, the community should be more neutral to some topics and not start flag wars and so on.

Web 2.0 Influencer don’t want their followers from platform 1 to platform 2. They want more followers and milk the systems. I don’t see them promote in the future Hive.

In General, how do we get more community’s on hive

  • Allow deactivating comments on Blog posts ( to stop hate, if people don’t want it)

Btw it also can be a makeup tutorial that can earn a lot of hate

  • Plug and Play front end

Hive Condenser like a WordPress installation. Bam ready to use.

  • Social media Tokens (onchain)

Now the new Frontend has their own Token (for example The Flatearthers with a Flat Earth Token)

  • Onboarding community’s

Yes, onboard 1 by 1 doesn’t work that cool. If someone wants to onboard their followers, we should make it possible. Doesn’t matter it’s chess, gaming, or flat earther community.

Sure maybe Hive can earn some bad press. But bad press is better than no press. Plus with new users, Hive gets higher demand.

Even if we don’t want people like that here, sooner or later if the platform goes bigger, it’s impossible to play opinion police. At some point Rewarding in Hive token should be stopped and all in social media Tokens.

Why can people on Web 2.0 delete comments? Sure because it's sometimes toxic and kills the fun to use a platform. People should enjoy hive.

Footnote: I think because in today’s world everybody thinks he is an expert in everything on the internet, we have people like that (or people follow that).

Some Fun question:

Do you think it is hart to onboard Idiots like this?

In Time of “?Fake News?”, “brrrrrrrrrrrr”, “?Internet censorship?”, I think these people would love internet money “called Hive” to donate to their gurus + accept/use it.
What do you think about that?

Interesting points. One solution could be for them to have their own frontend, as you say, and they could have their tokens.

Saying that I think it's complex, because there will always be a whale that will disagree with the conspiracy theory, fake news, etc, and they could downvote that content hard. Having their own token would allow them to monetize even if they are downvoted on Hive.

I'm not sure if it would be possible to remove comments from posts, maybe with a Dapp that makes a different kind of post that is not posted on peakd.com or hive.blog.

I'm open to onboard people like this as long as their content doesn't put them or people in risk.

disallow comments on posts should work easily.

Agree, It's exactly what I talking about. But the Token need to be on-chain otherwise a private company like Hive engine can delete the token ( as a possibility)
