The first #Bitcoin reference in TV history

avatar

Bitcoin price was just $3.41.

Today BTC is a bit higher since that.

Now the funny part.

The first-time Hive in TV, already happen?

If not what do you think the price will be? Will it ever happen?

Maybe we can see it in 10 years and it will be like facebook today on movies. Would be super funny and unrealistic, but why not :)

Challenge, post a TV reference about crypto in the comments. Let's see what we can bring up together

Another funny video is how often BTC died in the past. How often was this Bullrun? Here some from the past:

There is an episode of Chicago Med during season 2 that's rather stupid and/or hilarious if you know anything about bitcoin. The show itself quoted bitcoin's price at the time to be $1000.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6647140/

The hospital's equipment is shut down by a hacker or hackers demanding a ransom be sent to a bitcoin address for the hospital's network to be restored. One of the main characters was insistent throughout the episode that the ransom absolutely not be paid. In the end the ransom was paid and that character was angry going up to people demanding to know who paid it.

All throughout the episode the bitcoin address was displayed on a bunch of screens. This angry character 100% against paying the ransom was standing next to screens with the bitcoin address but never demanded those screens be turned off. Literally anyone at the hospital could have seen the bitcoin address and decided to pay the ransom. Many of the other characters just wanted the ransom to be paid so the hospital could get back up and running because lives literally depended on the hospital functioning.

Sorry for the general detail. That's the only episode from that series I've watched and I only saw it the first time it aired back in 2017 because the TV listing summary mentioned bitcoin.

If I wrote that episode the character 100% against paying the ransom would have been revealed as taking part in the ransom attack on the hospital. I get that the writers would have needed a character opposing paying the ransom but with so much "the lady doth protest too much" it makes the character's opposition look like the character is trying to deflect suspicion.

Every year the number of times people called for the death of BTC has been increasing. I think there was something like a BTC obituary that keeps track of it but I don't remember the site. According to that, the number of times called increases each year.

I've already posted two references. I am pretending not to know The Big Bang Theory had an 11th season episode about bitcoin so someone else can reply about it.😁

Thank you for taking is down this lane to actually know is not about the starting price and immediate profit but for future investment profit.

I believe one day Hive will increase to the standard of more than a dollar per one.
It may worth little now but in future the little will worth something.
