Evening

Blockchain.com, a major crypto wallet provider partnered up with Unstoppable Domains to simplify crypto transactions for its users. The integration with Unstoppable Domains will allow 32 million Blockchain.com users to send and receive major cryptos using readable usernames only, instead of full length wallet addresses.

The announcement reads:

You can send money directly to registered domains using the Blockchain.com Wallet. Now, when sending money to friends, instead of pasting a crypto address (i.e. bc1qw508d6qejxtdg4y5r3zarvary0c5xw7kv8f3t4), you have the option to simply type an easy-to-remember domain (i.e. brad.crypto).

The move aims to eliminate the possibility of human error and facilitate crypto(btc, eth etc.) transactions between Blockchain.com users and more than 50 other wallets & exchanges supported by Unstoppable Domains, including Coinbase wallet, MyEtherWallet and others.
Few days ago Unstoppable Domains sold more than one million domain names minted as NFTs on Ethereum Blockchain. Blockchain.com choose Unstoppable Domains and Ethereum Names service for being compatible, composable and censorship resistant.
The ability to transfer crypto using domain(names) is a luxury that most Hive users really don't appreciate, considering the facility is available to them by default. Just imagine a common crypto user, buying naming like service Unstoppable Domain just to have the luxury of transacting cryptos using names and consider yourself lucky for being on Hive.
