Brave Integrates With Gemini Offering Users Seamless Withdrawal of BAT Rewards

Open-source privacy centered web browser, Brave today announced integration with Gemini. Brave users can now receive their BAT rewards directly into their Gemini wallet.
Brave user will have option to link their Brave account to their existing Gemini account or create a new Gemini account to receive the BAT rewards. The BAT rewards will show up in Gemini wallet just like any other crypto, meaning they can be traded for any kind of assets Gemini exchange offers.
Brendan Eich, CEO and co-founder of Brave said:
Our partnership with Gemini started a year ago with wallets for Brave Creators, as well as with the Gemini Trading Widget in the Brave browser. We’re thrilled now to offer our Brave Rewards users an integrated custodial wallet that enables them to seamlessly use their BAT. Our aim is to make BAT easily accessible to all, and this integration with Gemini lets users move their BAT around with a few simple clicks.
Brave users already have the option to connect their Brave wallet to custodial wallets Uphold and bitFlyer. Having Gemini is a nice option of Brave users, considering they don't have to claim their brave rewards anymore on monthly basis. All brave reward will be automatically and seamlessly to the connected Gemini wallet, improving user experience. Brave balance in connected Gemini account could also be used to send tips.
Today's Brave integration with Gemini although welcomed but was a bit shaky, as many users reported their balance going to zero after syncing with Gemini account. Administrator in the Brave Community portal assure complaining user that things will fall in line soon as syncing is taking a bit longer than expected due to higher transaction volumes.

Since that patch Uphold is not working anymore, nor does the payout work in general for me. Haven't got any payment from Brave since Sept 2020. But still using it. Good to see that more Exchanges are supported.
