Yesterday was the last day of 2022, a year from which I consider I learned a lot and in which I achieved some things that I had not even on my list, last night while waiting for the arrival of the new year, I was briefly thinking about how I saw things when I was a young girl of 20 years and how I see them now that I am 48 and definitely the vision and what is important is different, now matters much more the family, so receive the new year in my pajamas while watching a movie.

Yesterday was a busy day, first because I had to take my cat Pocholo to his treatment at the veterinary clinic, as he was diagnosed with urinary problems and being in crisis he needs treatment for 12 days, as it usually happens in these dates something was missing for the New Year's Eve celebration and after acquiring them we visited a friend who lost her father about two weeks ago and we wanted to spend some time with her.

Now, late at night we still had some pending things to do, such as finishing the chicken salad, in this case chicken, the breast took a long time to cook or maybe it was our idea, the truth is that we were all tired, because we did many things throughout the day and not taking at least a nap, sleep was already beginning to dominate us.

On the other hand, although we had originally thought of cooking a black roast, for the last dinner of the year to get the money to have the money the night of the 30th complicated everything, because when we went to the supermarket was hellishly full, so we ran out of there and bought some hallacas, life has taught me that as much as possible we must simplify our existence, everything can not be stress and chores.

So, basically the New Year's Eve celebration was between my mother, my husband and me, since my son was at home until nine o'clock and then he went to his girlfriend's house to welcome the new year there. The dinner was very good, the chicken salad was better than the one we had on Christmas Eve and we could not miss the ham bread which is one of the things I love most about Christmas, we toasted and we hope that this year will be blessed and successful.

By eleven o'clock we were all almost asleep in the living room trying to watch a movie and 2023 caught us fixing the bed to go to sleep, as we could no longer fight the sleep that attacked us, so that was my day and New Year's Eve celebration, which was my choice to participate in the Week 134 New Year Edition, I don't want to retire without wishing you a happy and prosperous year 2023, may this year be full of beautiful moments together with your loved ones.
