Weekend Gratitude

My weekend ended up being an excellent weekend.

It was a perfect day to wash the clothes that were dirty hahaha. So from early in the morning I began the task of washing the family's clothes.
I was already a little tired from the work, I had some worries about what I would do to eat, the pantry was a little empty, but with the best disposition I prepared some spaghetti. I must say that they were very good. With few ingredients and a lot of love I made a sauce to eat with the spaghetti.Already more relaxed about the lunch, I set out to rest for a while.
My husband had left early to work and when he arrived from work, he brought food to stock the pantry, and with some delicious alfajores to snack on.

There is a phrase that is used a lot in my home, which goes like this: "when you think you have less, that's when you get more." With the effort of work had even a nice dessert for the snack
We shared the alfajores with a cup of coffee and enjoyed a beautiful children's movie.
Many times we are overwhelmed by the situations of the day, since it is not easy to live from day to day, but as we say here:

God squeezes but does not hang.

After having the pantry almost empty, we even get dessert to eat.
Every day we have to thank that we are alive, that we breathe that the blessings come to us.
Our work and our efforts are rewarded

Today I enjoyed seeing my family laugh, seeing the happiness of life in their faces.

We continued most of the afternoon watching children's movies. We enjoyed mohana, a beautiful movie that has an excellent musical, this is the fifth time we have seen it haha, my daughter is addicted to this movie, all the dialogue knows them and repeats them sing with great emotion.

I really enjoy seeing my daughter's joy, as she enjoys it as if it were the first time she has seen it the movie.

This was part of what was my weekend. I do not want to say goodbye without saying that we are always grateful for what we have and those we have around us.

Happy weekend

I'm often humbled by the gratitude attitude of those in countries not as fortunate as mine. Here you are with an almost empty pantry and still able to find something positive to say, and a positive attitude.

It's easy for a person who lives in a more affluent, stable country to forget that there are many out there who have much less, and yet still find the ability to smile and make the best of things.

Thank you for sharing your weekend with us in this community and I hope you will do so again and again. It shows personality, allows people to understand a little more about you and I think that helps people feel more engaged with you; that's how strong relationships form.

Thank you so much for your lovely post and I wish you the best for the rest of the weekend.

Yes, my country is currently experiencing a serious economic crisis, my pantry was almost empty, but other people's pantries are sometimes completely empty.
Thank God blessings always come.
I wanted to share with you the positive way we see life.
Many times I am overwhelmed when these moments of scarcity arrive because it is not easy, but we have to make the best of each day we live.

Hi Carmen. So glad you had time to post this weekend in this Community. Lovely post. Thanks for sharing. I'm happy to hear you were able to secure a bit more for your pantry. Sometimes we put ourselves on the back burner and do without so that our children will have what they need to bring a smile to their faces.

The saying in your country is also one I've heard often when I was younger. "When you think you have less, there is always someone who has even lesser." I know that to be true.

I appreciate the effort you're making in your journey on Hive. Keep up the good work. We'll discuss formatting text and new topics for this week. Don't forget to vote in the dpoll.

Have a better week ahead, take care and stay safe.

Thank you @justclickindiva
Yes, we always want the best for our children.

Because the greatest thing we have is life, and without a doubt that is the best.

Yes, without a doubt, coffee cures everything. Alfajores are cookies filled with dulce de leche and decorated with dehydrated coconut

An attitude of gratitude will sometimes carry you when nothing else will.

Joy is where we find it. In a cup of coffee and a sweet desert, in a movie where everybody knows the dialog.

Your post made my heart full of joy. Thank you for it.
