Workful Saturday? I can imagine, but mine is always different.

Whether I'm ready for it or not, it's yet another weekend and I've got to make the best of it. Yeah, it's a day of adulting. I'm glad that l was able to do a whole lot of that.

You already know what this is all about, eh?

Today being Saturday throws a different type of work on our path.

house-cleaning-4477416_640.png

Yes, it may not be an office-work day for everyone but it's a day of housework for others. The type you do for your sake without expecting any sort of remuneration or pat on the back from anyone. Some of these house works include house cleaning, laundry, doing dishes, cooking, trimming flowers and so on.

That's what Saturdays are mostly known for in this part of the world and the thought of all that needs to be done on a day like this can be daunting to a lot of people. It's not a surprise because l know of people that their Saturdays are for work and more work and much more work, or simply boring. Well, boring is the word and l try to make sure that my Saturdays are never described with such words.

How do l go about my Saturday chores to make the best of the day?

I don't know about any other person, but l know that l always look forward to Saturdays as a day that l need to spend the first few hours adulting so that l wouldn't have to do that for the rest of the day.

I wake up as early as l do on weekdays and l maintain my morning routine as if it's a normal weekday. This is what helps me to start on a good note and to get a lot of things settled before noon.

Trust me, you don't want to be doing laundry or scrubbing floors or shopping when it's already too late to do so - By too late, l mean from noon upwards. My preference is to get these done before 10 am as that would permit me to use my time for other activities.

Is it even possible to do all our Saturday chores within that timeline?

Maybe, maybe not! But I'm always left with no other chores to do before 10 am. Even when we do general compound sanitation, l still find myself taking my bath before 10 am. Of course, I'm not doing this when I'm about to cut grass. I take my bath when it's time to do things that scream fun.

But, it still doesn't write off how workful Saturdays can be.

The strategy to my fun Saturday is that l don't just keep Saturday chores for Saturdays. I do my chores whenever l squeeze out time for it on weekdays and that reduces the stuff that needs to be done on Saturdays.

With all that is already said, it would be advisable for you to consider doing some chores on weekdays so that you won't spend half your weekend getting ready for the weekend. Lol.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Yeah... I always post in communities and leave it there. The only ones l reblog to my blog are for easy access. I will start sending them all to my blogs now 😋.

My Saturdays are just that way. I start very early so that l will be free before the sun starts battering my skin 😂

Hahah... I will push it there as soon as it's posted. May God help me to remember 😂.

Now that l'm thinking of this, it reminds me that it was after a while that l got to start going beyond the first page on people's profile page in order to find their recent posts.

Thanks for this hint.
I can't thank you enough

Haha this is me talking, I am never of the opinion to wait for Saturdays before I do some house chores. I do them whenever I'm free and most times, my Saturday become free for me.

That last sentence got me laughing, spend half your weekdays getting prepared for weekend? That's so funny but it happens, I've seen people like that.

They plan and proscastinate till they find themselves with a huge pile of work to do and they are having less strength for it, it can be very daunting as you've said.

Ahaà... That's my babe. That's a good way to make our weekend enjoyable. I'm always surprised to see people bringing out almost every cloth in their wardrobe to wash.

Loll, how on Earth did they wear upto 15 clothes without washing any?

I'm not strong enough to do that 😂.

😂 😂 15 clothes in one week? People wear more than that na, I know someone who changes her clothes up to three times a day. You can imagine how her laundry time looks like 😬🤦‍♀️

Me that is very lazy so, I won't even think of doing such 😂

This type of person will change cloth 3 times during her wedding service 😂

1 before sermon
1 Before kissing of bride
1 after signing marriage certificate 😂

Ughhhh... That's not weird at all
