A song by Italian guerrillas on the shores of the Mediterranean...

It was Easter ... In Turkey. It was the first time in my life that I was abroad. In a country where Islam. I have not sanctified Easter basket. And I did nothing to identify me with Ukraine. For me, Easter is first and foremost in my heart. This is the victory of life over death. It's thanks to God for his love ... I was on the beach and the weather was great. We agreed to spend the evening with my son and his family on the beach in the Qualista cafe. I was left alone for a while and had great pleasure from that time from 4 to 5 pm by the sea. It is already warm in Turkey. I bathe and bask on the stones. Now that we do not know what will happen tomorrow in our home country, I feel even more acutely the moment today!

I walked slowly along the shore in the direction of Moonlight park. There were many people here who sat with the children on the grass and celebrated the weekend. I passed the Pier, where the ships look beautiful against the sea and blue sky. Once again, I think about why it is so on earth, where people are resting and enjoying life, and somewhere in other countries, non-humans are killing people to satisfy their terrible sick ambitions ...

But today I wanted to forget about the terrible war that is now in Ukraine. I wanted to focus on spring and life ... On the beach in Moonlight park there are several cafes that have tables on the sand by the sea. There are sunbeds with pillows and a very cozy atmosphere. We chose the Qualista cafe, which has a very beautiful design of natural elements. And I also like that in the evening they light fires, and this creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere. Our children immediately sat on round sunbeds and immersed themselves in their important affairs :)

We ordered dinner, and a few minutes later there was a pleasant surprise: musicians from Cuba came and there was an evening of live music. This is my favorite combination of violin and guitar! The song in Spanish on the shores of the Mediterranean sounded beautiful and I would really feel happy if it weren't for the taste of sadness ... I have to learn to live today, because tomorrow doesn't exist!

At the end of our evening, the musicians played a famous tune, and my daughter-in-law told me that it was a song by Italian guerrillas. This is a wonderful emotional melody and even without understanding the words, I feel strong feelings that sound!
When I got home, I looked up the meaning of this song on the Internet. They sing there:
Goodbye beauty!
I woke up this morning
and saw the enemy through the window!
Oh, partisans, take me
I feel my death is near!
If I am destined to die in battle - You bury me in the mountains high
Under the shade of a red flower!

It was so long ago and I thought it never come back. My father told me about the war, he was a child when the Germans were in their village. But I thought those times of war were a thing of the past. How wrong I was! And here we are fleeing the war ...
I wish you to be blessed and live under a peaceful sky!

The title of the song is Ciao Bella, Çav Bella in Turkish. Leftist Turks love this song so much. It has a direct translation from the Italian lyrics.

In a country where Islam.

Türkiye is a secular country since Mustafa Kemal Atatürk founded it. The state has no religion ;)

There were many people here who sat with the children on the grass and celebrated the weekend.

That's what we do at weekends if the weather is good :)

The weather has been hotter for a few days. Ramadan feast is ahead with five days holiday. Therefore, we need such weather :)

I was convinced that Turkey is a completely Muslim religion. But for me religion does not matter, because I am convinced that God is one :) When exactly will be the holiday of 5 days of Ramadan? And how is the celebration going?

In fact, it is on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday but together with weekend it is 5 days. I think it has no specific celebration like feast of sacrifice, whichbis two months later.

I know it's not easy what you are going through but I'm always used to look out for the good part in everything and in your case, I'm happy that you managed to leave Ukraine before things getting so bad where civilians are killed or not left to go away from the country. Everyone prays for this thing to be over but equally everyone believes in Ukraine that will resist and win this.

Thank you for your support. I am very grateful to God that my whole family has gathered here and I do not wake up every morning to the sound of sirens! I sincerely sympathize with the people who survived the death of loved ones! But, as I wrote, the only thing I can do is ask God to establish justice someday ...
