MY VISIT TO A VEHICLE MECHANIC WORKSHOP || ENGAGE THE WEEKEND
It's getting fun coming here to talk about my weekend and I think I would get used to it with time.
I think my Saturday is cursed! π ππ. Reason is that I always have time to play my guitar only on Saturday but one or two things come up to prevent me from making a video.
This time, I waited gently for electricity today and I was happy that the electricity came up in the afternoon. It was that moment my dad came out to tell him to follow him to the mechanic π . I was like damn I can't say NO! to my dad's request, so I had no choice than to forfeit my plans of making a guitar video cover today.
As a blogger, I have to share some things about the journey to the mechanic. So let's go there:
My dad was taking his car to the mechanic because he was complaining of how the car vibrates which is very true (The body of the car vibrates abnormally). The response he got from the mechanic after he checks was that the problem was the engine seat which needs changing. As I heard from my dad, he said the engine was not placed properly because the sit wasn't okay which my dad needed to change it but unfortunately, my dad said it could not be changed today.
Below is a picture of me with my dad
This is the picture I took at the mechanic shop while I was beside my dad
After the car was taken for a test drive by the mechanic, the man said my dad would need to change the fuel pump that the one there is not working fine and changing it would increase the performance of the car.
So they settled on changing that, thereafter one of the apprentice was sent to get a new fuel pump which he arrived back with after some few minutes.
I took a few pictures while they were on it.
Mehn! This was the only picture I took but anyways, the man on green was the one working on the pump.
Below the passenger sit is where the fuel pump use to be at that circle center hole from the picture above.
I still took some pictures while he was making the change. You can follow the pictures below ππ.
So the picture below is the former fuel pump which is what he really changed.
It cost my dad about $25 to change and buy the fuel pump replacement. The money included the cost of item and workmanship.
So that's all I have to share about my weekend. I hope you all had a lovely weekend. See you again next week ππ.

Nice post
Thanks dear! I appreciate it for stopping by.
It's good to have people who know what they're doing around huh? I assume you mean the fact the engine mounts need replacing is causing the vibrations, whish is typical. I hope that happens soon, and the car will be good as new.
Yeah that's what I meant. I hope it happens soon as well. Thanks for coming around π
I tore an engine off the left engine mount doing a burnout once...I wasn't popular with my wife who called me a maniac at the time. I was 19 years old and a little crazy.
Lol. You worked on cars from that age. It wasn't until I hit the age 20, that I got interested in cars. I mean just driving it alone but I had to learn some other little things like changing batteries, checking water and oil levels, and also checking the tires.
I was told knowing these was important for those who wants to drive a car.
So happy to hear it was only a minor problem. Usually the labor is what's the most expensive. So glad it all worked out for your dad.
Daddys boy well-done
Motor mounts. I may or may not have broken one or two :) I did once run a chain from the exhaust manifold to the bottom of the mount to keep the motor in place until I could fix the damn thing. Got me home.
An in tank pump and filter changed for $25? That filter would have cost $25 here :)
You really look like your dad, and I can see why you said 'Yes Sir' when he needed the help :)
Lol.. thanks alot π€π. I think it was only the pump that was changed. I appreciate your comment π€π€
