Ah, to win the lottery... It would be the ultimate dream, would it not? Yet, if it were as simple as winning it, there would not be so much competition! 😩 There is a reason for that; the allure of money can be a powerful one. The capability to change one's life, to buy whatever they wish, impress whoever they want!...
I am grateful to say that I have a very healthy relationship with money. My entire childhood, there was never a moment of spoilage from my parents. We never experienced an abundance of wealth, so my family and I grew up being humbled by anything that we were provided with. As such, I respect money for what it is capable of: the power to provide great change, whether good or bad. Having been an addict, spending $100/night on drugs, I have also had enough of my own experiences with money to know where my properties lay.
That being said, how would I spend the money today if I won? Well, I am happy to report that my life has changed dramatically since recovering from addiction--for the better! 😀 In the 2 years that have passed, I began a much healthier relationship with a man that has helped me work towards a better future. We had our first child together in December 2021, and in October of 2022, we learned we will be welcoming our second in June! 👶🥰 My life has transformed from selfish self-destruction, to one that now revolves around a happy family environment.
Currently, our biggest dream has been to buy an RV and live our life on the road! 🚙🛣️ My boyfriend is an urban explorer (explores abandoned locations/buildings), self-employed via his YouTube channel, so his career entails that we cannot be held down by any one location. As such, we have been looking into buying a used 32" Class A RV. However, if we won the lottery, we would happily buy new! 😄 And of course, given the price of gas nowadays, a hefty amount would be set aside for fuel, repairs, etc.

(And, ummm, while we're on the topic of driving, I have a ticket from my past life that I would immediately pay off! 😬)
A large amount of money would be given to our loved ones. Although neither my boyfriend or myself have experienced "perfect" relationships with family (who has? 😅), the love and support has always been there when we need it. Our families have had to struggle in certain ways financially, but we would like them to experience enough wealth to live comfortably...
Naturally, our children will come first. However, college funds are not in our foreseeable future 😅 We plan on homeschooling them; we are very anti-government, and western public education is a mess... Perhaps we would consider private education, but being on the road would make that difficult. Regardless, whatever our children's passions end up being, we will happily support them in their endeavors in any way that we can 🙏
