Timothy thy had a motorcycle accident. The motorcycle was damaged a little.
He took the motorcycle to a mechanic, to repair the motorcycle.

Timothy decided to be using the public bus to go to his daily work.

One day, on his way back from work, he saw poor homeless man at the bus station begging for money that evening.
Timothy was sad and felt pity for the poor guy. Timothy brought out his wallet and gave the homeless man some money from his wallet.
The poor man was so grateful and thanked Timothy for his kindness.

The following day, Timothy saw the poor homeless man at the bus station again, same spot. This time around, Timothy bought some food for him and also gave him money. The poor homeless man was so happy and thanked Timothy for his kindness.

Timothy wanted to ask the man a question.

“Why are you so poor and homeless at this level?” asked Timothy.

“Because I was kind to people. I show love to other.” The poor homeless man replied with a smile.

Timothy was confused. He didn't get what the man was saying.

“What do you mean by showing love, I don't understand.” Asked Timothy.

“All my whole life, I have been taking care of people. I always help people, even when I have or when I don't have. I make sure everyone is ok and happy.” The poor homeless man replied.

“Do you regret all this things you have done?” asked Timothy.

“No, not at all. Look son, It is better to lay your own foundation and call others to see than to let others lay your foundation.

Timothy was so happy to listen to the poor homeless man advice. He thanked him and head back home.

Sharing is better than giving sometimes.

This is sort of a parable. Out of something bad, a motorcycle accident, something good came. But, the good only came because Timothy acted with compassion. He met a homeless man and helped him. From that kindness, and from the homeless man, Timothy learned a valuable lesson. He never would have learned that lesson if he hadn't crashed his motorcycle.

Hello @cryptofi,

Sometimes, taking the bus, or walking, brings us closer to life than just zipping around on a motorbike or in a car. That's what happened here. But, not everyone who gets closer has the eyes to see what is going on around. This narrator had eyes and a heart. Because of that he also had a rich experience. I enjoyed your story.

What a very wise homeless person!

“All my whole life, I have been taking care of people. I always help people, even when I have or when I don't have. I make sure everyone is ok and happy.” The poor homeless man replied.

It is heart-breaking that he is living on the street.
