Once upon a time. In a peaceful village, King Nasar ruled his people happily. The people of the village were very happy, they were prov with all there needs. Everyone lived happily.

One day, the king Nasar decided to visit a great shrine to seek more knowledge on how to rule his kingdom peacefully. The great shrine was across the village in a far place.

king Nasar wanted to interact with his people while going to this shrine, so he decided to travel by foot. The people were happy that their king was so humble to have conversation with them. He is a loving king. People share their problems with him.

king Nasar was back to the palace, he spent few days in the travel. The king was so happy that he had visited the great shrine and the gods have spoken to him.

He started feeling pains in his legs , because it was a long journey he had traveled and it was his first time traveling by foot.

king Nasar complained to his chief minister and his pains. That the roads were not good to walk on. That his legs were seriously hurt. He was also worried about his people who walked in those bad roads, they would be experiencing the same pains too.

Nasar king thought about all this, he ordered some road workers to smooth the whole village roads with a white sand so that his people can walk freely without pains.

The chief minister was surprised to hear the king's order as it would require thousands of gold coins to get quantity sands for the whole village. It will really cost a lot.

A wise elderly man from the king's ministry came to the king and said that he had another wise alternative. The wise man said, “instead spending huge amounts of money and gold coins working the roads, why don't you just buy some pair of shoes that matches you and cover your feet?”

King Nasar was so happy hearing this suggestion and thanked the wise man. He ordered a pair of shoes for himself and advised all his people to also wear shoes to prevent pains while walking on the roads.

This story reads like a fable. And, like a fable, it has a good moral. Why make something hard, when a simple solution will suffice? If only all leaders had the good impulse of King Nasar.
