His Last Memories

I woke in a dark room silent with nothing but the sound of my heartbeat rapidly increasing. Unable to recall what had happened. It was about last night. I was talking to Tracy over a cup of red wine. All I could comprehend was the glass slipping away from my grip before losing consciousness. But here I am tied up to this metal chair in a dark cold room. My breath became heavy as I could sense myself activating a panic mode. It was not time to panic but to be a hero.
Tracy! What about her I thought.

Is she okay?

. . .

I needed to save her but I am tied tightly to this chair. Then it began to make sense why the panic attack got triggered. I am claustrophobic.
I don’t do well in confined spaces. I began to sweat. The room had no windows and I could not tell if it was a basement or a storage space.
I could feel the sweat roll down my spine. It was hot and the air was thin. Hyperventilating and struggling to break free from the chains. A weak spot I hope. Numb and helpless I was.
Then a clicking sound I heard. Unlocking the door followed by footsteps and a ray of light that cast the shadow of whom was by the door.

A woman?

Who could she be?

Thoughts began to cascade as I was confused about what to say.
I cry for help or ask what you want. Where is Tracy? What am I going to do?
A dilemma in my turmoil.
The shadows get larger and soon she shut the door and was in front of me. I recognised that perfume scent.

Tracy, I said. There was silence then a click followed as a red bulb of light turned on which was dangling in front of me but slowly as it was attached to a line fixed on the ceiling.
What is this Tracy? Let me lose I said.

Boy, you have no right to demand anything from where you sit. Tracy goes on to bring out a toolbox with tools that looked like it can inflict unspeakable pain.
Before I could say any word further she took out a plier to clamp tightly on the tip of my ear lobe. I cried out in pain as I could feel my cold blood drip over the side of my neck to my cloth.
Then she laughed hysterically … Do you remember me now? I could not ever recall meeting her up until that night at the club.
Let me jog your memory she said while bringing out a taser. She turns it on and it would seem she could be careless with the way she was holing it. I felt a sprinkle of water touch my cloth. I was soaked and she had her eyes wide open with an evil excitement.

No! Don’t do it. I cried.

I swear … I have no recollection of you.

She continued to laugh. So you thought you could get away with it. She took the taser gun and shot it on my chest. The pain from the electric surge sent me flying to the ground with the chair. I passed out only to open my eyes moments later chained up like an animal about to be butchered. She had a knife in her hand and I had a cut on my left arm dripping with blood to the cold hard ground.

I felt the pain. It woke me up.

She’s coming closer … I can’t take any more pain …

I can smell it... death

Silence and demise was eminent
