Cryptobrewmaster - After A Week I have 100 CBM Less

Cryptobrewmaster

Exactly a week ago I asked myself the following question - New Week Starts, How Will It End?

The idea was to play the gave the conservative way - finish daily quests, buy / drink beer to get energy, brew beer to get CBM tokens.

The hypothesis was that I'll end the week with less money than I started with.

Two days ago I made with check-in with Net Loss After Five Working Week Days.

Situation after a week

I have 707.39 CBM

A week ago I had 805.76 CBM

I brewed a net loss of 98.37 CBM.

My current money and stock.

This was expected.

You don't get enough for your beer and you pay too much / too many times to get the energy. In my opinion, the game is out of balance in this section.

Is the market function changing it? I don't know yet since I didn't make a single trade on the market yet.

Moving on with the game

First brewing after three days.

Picking the Beer Drinker rewards

An orange card, nice! The rewards are better now, I think.

Good luck, everybody.

Have you spent anything on the game yet?

I bought ingredients several times when they were worth 1 HBD. I also have withdrawn 275 CBM. I am probably about even now.

Yet, for the future ...

I've been buying one a week, I stopped brewing when I noticed we have to pay for energy! It seemed like too much effort to keep topping up, I might get back to it eventually.

They have to make their money somehow!

True. Yet, in the long term, this is not sustainable.

Unless they count on a usual capitalist approach :)

I'll have another look at it when I get some free time, I met rollie at SF4, solid bloke and I like the concept so I'll keep supporting it for now for sure!

The game was recently being promoted as a game and not an investment, but I agree with you about it being out of balance. My amount of CBM is also shrinking.
I thought the newly added market would change this. I did have some sells from the market but only in the first two days.
Since the game isn't consuming a lot of my time I keep gathering ingredients, but there isn't much challenge in playing the game at the moment.

Nope, it's just clicking through. Drink, quest, brew, drink, drink, quest, drink, quest, brew, ...

It's not hard :)

I'm not even brewing anymore. I'm trying to sell my ingredients on the market.
I thought that people would buy ingredients when they try to win one of the events, but no luck yet.
Maybe if they made the prize for the events some CBM people would try harder to win.

Selling the cards seems to be the most prudent option, yes.

Do you have buyers?

I was hoping people would buy cards when they tried to win the events, but that didn't really happen.
I do have set quite high prices.

Alright...

First brewing after three days.

Where's the reason to use all 5 Outstanding ingredients, the idea is that you can combine it with 2 Neutral to get a huge chance of getting Outstanding beers

We are still F2P on the CBM, it's not necessarily doing all the expensive quests to spend tokens and much energy on it. If you buy additional packs, take part in events, and combine it with free quests, you can get pretty decent results with a minimum of investment.

Anyway we ask not to count the game as an investment opportunity cuz it's still too early and many stuff will be changed in the economy and mechanics)

Thanks for the review)

You are welcome.

I simply tried to do as much as possible, quests and brews included. Busy bee, you know :)

As you said, the middle way would be the best approach.

I am not complaining. Just stating my experience.

Yes, I could take a chance while mixing the brew. I might do that this week. Last week I kept it the most straightforward an conservative.

I did put my brewed beet on market at small profit and so far only one was bought... For me to gain more CBM than I spend on quests, I need to sell the finished beer at least double the price than pub gives.

When quests don't give enough ingredients, I buy them bulk on market as the price of ingredients go up quite fast when seller changes.

For me, the minimum viable sell price at market for finished beer is:

Grey - 10 CBM
Green - 25 CBM
Blue - 50-75 CBM
Purple - 100-250 CBM
Orange - 500-1000 CBM

More I need to buy ingredients on market, higher the minimum viable sell price is for blue (outstanding), purple (excellent) and orange (outstanding) quality.

On the other hand, if I get better ingredients from events, the minimum viable sell price is lower.

Usually I'm the one who posts criticism about other people's projects, but once in a while I try to post something that actually make them more usable...

Other people might want or need higher sell prices depending on how much they spend in ingredients, but for me, those have been so far enough to stop losing all my CBM while brewing...

Yes, with the market there's less or even no ned to do the quests. It's cheaper and quicker to buy the cards. Thanks again.

I buy ingredients from market if I can't start brewing because I'm missing one, two or three ingredients... It makes little sense to buy more than 3 ingredients from market.

I see, thank you. I will follow your lead today.
