Here in Brazil people are numb with this whole World Cup thing in America and I think about everyday life and I remember a phrase called bread and circuses and it has never made as much sense as it does today in
2026!!

I realize that unhappy people are dominating everything around us (and we've never had so many 🤣🥵), especially in skateboarding. We see a lot of people upset with betting houses and because they know that American skaters are making money promoting online casinos, while another part here is complaining about the organizers of professional skateboarding championships, claiming that they put on a big event, it's shown on open network television, and it takes them about 3 or 4 months to pay the prizes to the medal-winning skaters at these events, and people are working hard to create content for Zuckerberg's network hoping for something, talking about essence, talking about roots 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️

I'll talk a little about roots. In my time when I started skateboarding, skateboarding was a marginal thing, like "skateboard and go to the..." Prison, it was a punk thing, nobody messed with skaters except the police, and we couldn't even take the subway with our skateboards in hand without the security guard coming after us. The music used to be much, much cooler, and we admired skaters for the video parts that came out in magazines like 411vm, and that was pure and original (OG).

Um otimo domingo a todos, nos ultimos dias o mundo tem se mostrado um pouco mais incomum que o normal , entao desejamos profundamente que todos estejam bem e os que nao estao que fiquem bem !!

Por aqui no Brasa as pessoas estao anestesiadas com esse lance de copa do mundo na America e penso no cotidiano e lembro de uma frase que se chama pao e circo e ela nunca fez tanto sentido como ta fazemo hj em
2026 !!

Percebo que os infelizes estao dominam tudo ao nosso redor (e nossa nunca teve tantos 🤣🥵) principalmente no skate percebemos um galera revoltada com casas de apostas e por saberem que os skatistas americanos estao ganhando dinheiro divulgando cassinos on line, enquanto outra parte aqui esta a reclamar dos organizadores dos campeonatos de skate profisionais e alegam que os caras fazem um grande evento , passa na televisao de rede aberta e demoram cerca de 3,4 meses para pagarem a premiacao dos skatistas medalhados nesses eventos e a galera fazendo um baita corre para criar conteudo para a rede do zucrenberg na esperanca de algo , falando de essencia , falando de raiz 🤣🤷🏾‍♂️

Vou falar um pouco sobre raiz , na minha epoca que comecei a andar de skate o skate era uma coisa marginal do tipo ande de skate e va para a prisao , era uma coisa de punk , ninguem mexia com os skatistas a nao ser a policia e a gente nao podia nem pegar metro com o skate na mao que o seguranca ja vinha atraz , as musicas costumam a ser muito mas muito mais legais , e a gente admirava os skatistas pelas video partes que saim das marcas , de revistas como 411vm e isso era puro e original (OG )

And nowadays we see new people skateboarding, skateboarding instructors, skateboarding lessons, parents of skaters, a skateboard molded in the skatepark for the skatepark and for this new generation that wants everything perfect, everything ready, everything already pre-digested (they don't even like to wax the obstacle because otherwise it slides too much 🤣)
And honestly, some even get good at tricks due to the super support that the Olympic category has today. Then I stop, reflect and think: Man, what a mess all this has become, when did it become like this!!

Well, honestly, I don't know when all this became so boring and mediocre, and I am immensely grateful for having heard from my grandmother several times when I was a kid a phrase that was blunt and very direct and said: Study my son, study so you don't end up like everyone else in this world!!

E hj em dia vemos pessoas novas andando de skate , professores de skate , aulas de skate pais de skatistas , um skate moldado na skatepark para a skatepark e para essa nova geracao que quer tudo perfeitinho , tudo pronto, tudo ja mastigado (nao gostam nem de passar vela no obstaculo pq se nao desliza demais 🤣)
E sinceramente alguns ate ficam bons nas manobras devido ao super suporte que a categoria olimpica tem hj em dia . Ae eu paro reflito e penso : Cara que bosta ficou isso tudo , quando isso ficou assim !!

Bem sinceramente nao sei quando isso tudo ficou desse jeito tao chato e tao mediocre, e sou imensamente grato por ter
escutado da minha vó por diversas vezes quando era muleque uma frase que era na lata e bem direta e dizia: Estude meu filho estude para vc nao ficar igual a todo mundo nesse mundo !!
