Hello everyone, how are you doing?

Everyone who knows me can definitely agree that I totally suck when it comes to DIY repais but there is only one DIY category that I don't suck and that's pretty much anything related to skateboarding!

Every skater knows the strugle of torn skate shoes so I decided to share with you a fast , easy and inexpensive way to repair your skate shoes!

You are gonna need

  • An old shoe you do not need
  • A pair of scissors
  • Shoe Goo
  • An Ice Cube

In case you are wondering what's "Shoe Goo" it's the #1 shoe repair adhesive! It’s ideal for fixing worn soles or damaged heels, coating shoes to prevent premature wear and sealing galoshes, waders or rubber boots. The unique formula is designed for strong abrasion resistance and better adhesion to flexible materials.

Time to Repair our Shoes

The first thing you need to do is cut a double the size piece of your skate shoe's hole from the old shoe you do not need and add some Shoe Goo on it like this.

After doing so, the next step is to place that piece at the hole but from the inside and with the Shoe Goo facing the outer part of the shoe just like the photo bellow

Then all you have to do is place a fair amount of Shoe Goo at the front side of the hole on the piece we have just attached to our shoe.

Now it's time to use the ice cube! I am sure you've been wondering where the f*ck we needed it lol!
We will need it to spread and give shape to the Shoe Goo we just used at the outer side of our shoe.
Just apply pressure on the ice cube and move it left and right until the Shoe Goo has spreaded equally in both sides.

Shoe Goo needs more than 24 hours to dry.
After 24 Hours, this is how my shoe looks like 😍

I highly suggest every skater to buy a Shoe Goo. It only costs 8$ and it saves you a ton of money cause you will be using your shoes double the time!

Hell yeah, they still had the same looking tube too lol that’s too funny. When you’ve got something that works though, don’t change it!

Yeah man! You can buy 2 Shoe Goos for like 14$ on Ebay so it's a fair deal! I like maximazing the shit out of everything so even if I had 5 pairs of new shoes to skate I'd still skate every single one of them until it won't grip anymore ;)
