Ulog: Your Church Boy
Today has been a really productive and rewarding one. I got to learn many things as I sat under the tutelage of some seasoned men of God.
A friend invited me to their church conference and since I love to go church plus I knew I would learn something if I went, I couldn't say no. I yielded and I actually attended the service.
It was really impactful and here some of the things I learnt...
The gospel is christ-centered so, any message not pointing to Jesus Christ is not a good message. Also, the gospel should be preached and given freely. None should charge you to preach the word or pray for you.
The church is not a place for entertainment, motivational speakings or comedies rather a place where the gospel of Christ is being preached and taught. The church is not a place for concerts. It is a place where we gather to feed on Christ.
I learnt quite a lot today and I hope to attend the remaining days of the teaching conference..
