What If Earth Is An Onion?

Hello my creative friends,

Planet Earth is the theme for this week of Digital Drawing Contest by @dzoji. How am I supposed to interpret that theme? What if Earth became an onion slowly rotating in space? Will it contain the same purple color and its many layers? Will there be other heavenly bodies then that look like vegetables? These are my crazy thoughts while planning what to draw

The process :
Just playing with the onion shape and the world map

The line drawing looks interesting so I went for it and finalised. Next step is I chose and decided what colors to use. Purple and green look bright and right for me
