What's Your Favorite Twitter Hack Moment?

Did you see the Twitter hack today? Yeah, that was unreal. From a more serious perspective, I'm surprised World War 3 hasn't started yet. At the same time, I was a bit confused about the use of old school Runescape money doubling scam.

#runescape is trending because a #bitcoin hacker #hacked Twitter.

I mean, come on. This is like a blast from the early 2000's.

Potential catastrophe aside, I did find some gems throughout the hack. Whether or not these tweets are real is another story. For the sake of humor, let's assume they are and laugh together.

This should dispel any doubt about whether Epstein killed himself. The good thing is, the meme lives on.

I guess they don't only want your Bitcoin. They want you gold as well. The hackers could not have found a more fitting choice.

Of course, other outlets couldn't help themselves but to join the fun.

Can't help but wonder if this doesn't have something to do with the guy who got fired the other day from Tucker Carlson's show whose account was hacked and he was outed as anonymously saying derogatory stuff on a blog site. At the end of Carlson's show last night he said in so many words that revenge would could quick.

Who knows. Given they weren't making political statements, it might be crypto related.

If my theory were to hold any truth the crypto part would just be a front for what they were after underneath. This was a very serious breach which provided them the knowledge or the tools they'd need to hack into any account on twitter at any time. I am big on what I call reading between the lines and when I read between the lines of what he said last night I was waiting to see who they'd go after...I just didn't expect it to happen this fast.

“Blake fell short of that standard and he has paid a very heavy price for it. But we should also point out, to the ghouls now beating their chests in triumph at the destruction of a young man, that self-righteousness also has its costs,” the Fox News host said.

“We are all human. When we pretend we are holy, we are lying. When we pose as blameless in order to hurt other people, we are committing the gravest sin of all. And we will be punished for it. There’s no question.”

That dude was his top writer on the show, most can pretty much assume those who hacked and targeted him pretty much are doing the same only on the left side of the equation. You have to understand current politics pretty well that the left has been after Carlson pretty heavy the last few weeks, even got sponsors to stop running commercials during his show, the next best thing they could have done was go after his top writer...so yeah I believed revenge was going to be sweet....it wasn't the bitcoin they were after and I'd imagine over the coming weeks we'll see some people on the left regretting they went after the guy the way they did.

That’s what happens when you downvote questionable characters.

It’s been going on for a few months.

It's pretty embarrassing for Twitter. Shows their security is not up to much, especially with verified accounts being hit. Not sure I follow anyone who was actually hacked, but then I'm not into those 'celebrities'. Hope it makes people consider alternatives.

The only blue checks I follow are some crypto personalities like Samson Mow.

Do Hive Engine tokens count?

I don't know how I totally missed all of this. Maybe because I don't really follow any blue check people on Twitter. All of the people I follow are crypto enthusiasts who are pretty much under the radar. That one about Epstein is pretty funny.

There are some prominent ones like Adam Back and Charles Hoskinson who don’t have check marks.

The biggest joke has to be Justin Sun slamming a bounty of $1million on the hacker when he is actually more wanted than the hacker.

I can’t imagine him paying. It was kinda nice knowing that he couldn’t spew his bs during the hack.
